Aussiedaz - I agree that Telly Savalas's experience is absolutely true. I remember watching him being interviewed about this on some or other TV show a number of years back. Amazing, isn't it?

Haven - Some entities can become pests and I have wondered whether they purposely annoy people or whether some of them are just over-exuberant.

Years ago I had one in my house for a few months and he drove me nuts, eventually following me around in the house even during the day, switching the TV off when the kids were watching programmes. I eventually called in a Catholic priest to assist me. That ceremony worked and I never heard or felt him again. I never saw this specific spirit but knew he was male. I posted that story on YGS. I think I titled it "unusual introduction to a ghost".

You really should try to get rid of whatever is haunting you. It will make a huge difference to your life.

Regards, Melda

The most famous case of a ghost interacting in physical form has to be the account of Hollywood actor Telly Savalas who was picked up in a ghost car by an individual who passed away a while before, here's the link for anyone interested in watching it... For the life of me, I can't see any reason why he would make it up in the process of looking like a looney.

Huh, well Lady Glow and Biblio, those are some suggestions I completely missed, but make total sense.

Hi Haven,

Not sure if this is just the stuff of fiction, but I think it makes sense. Over time if we're 'haunted' by the same ghosts our awareness of them, and theirs of us, might strengthen in a similar way we familiarise ourselves with people we interact with regularly, in shops for example. So you're at ease with a bizarre moment, while the shadow/s are surprised, I assume, at your making 'physical' contact. It may have been a gleeful surprise too, a goal achieved.
As for ghosts being able to solidify in the physical realm, it can happen. Many people have encountered a ghost cat jump on their bed and walk on their legs, for example. So it's also possible what you felt was literal.

Thanks for sharing.

Greetings, Haven.

If you were indeed having an Out-of-Body Experience, then there's no reason for you to believe that the spirit you saw would be insubstantial. Lady-glow is right; if you were kicking at it with your "spirit feet," you may well have been on the same wavelength (for lack of a better word) as the spirit. When you awoke, the second "spirit" that you saw may well have been your astral form before it re-integrated with your body.

Let me know if you think I've completely misunderstood your description, Haven, or if this makes any sort of sense to you.

Best,
Biblio.

Hola Heven.

I'm glad you are "not good at describing or explaining things"... The way you describe them is creepy enough to give me nightmares!

In my opinion, the shadow felt like something solid because you kicked it with your spirit feet and not with your physical ones, even if you moved the latter.

Have these events happened at all the places you have lived? Would it be possible that they were the ones waking you up "just in time to avoid danger"?

Thanks for sharing this fascinating experience.
