Babysitting Night

One Saturday night, I was babysitting this little boy. I told him it was time to go to bed and put him in his room. As soon as I placed him in the bed, he started bawling, so I said I'll stay in there until he falls asleep. He wouldn't stop talking, then he just stopped and stared at the window. He started crying, and I got this freaky feeling like someone was watching us through the window. Just as scared as he was, I told him he can sleep in the living with me (with the TV on!). We were watching full house, and someone started knocking on the kitchen door. It was like 10:00 at night, and I guessed it was the parents. I thought that this was the end of this freaky night, but then I stopped walking. I never saw the headlights coming toward the driveway, or heard a car. I looked out the peep hole and no one was there. The little boy started crying again, and I called his parents. They said they were going to be home in a half of an hour. Relieved that it was almost over, someone started tapping the window! The little boy started crying harder. Trying to be the adult, and not be scared, but it was really hard! As I soothed him down I told him mommy and daddy would be home soon. Well his parents arrived, and they paid me.

I walked outside to the car, and I noticed something moving. I'm not sure what it was, but I'm pretty sure. I looked over and I saw a man laughing at me, then he just turned around and walked away. That was one of the scariest nights of my life. One month later the family moved out, they said that they had been seeing this man. They said the man was always laughing at them.

You could say it was a pervert. If not alive, maybe deceased. You could tell by his laugh that he wasn't looking for help, and certainly wasn't looking to be a friend. I'm glad the family moved out quickly!

That man looks more like Bob who lived in a house but died. He doesn't look familiar to anyone except 30 of his looks.

It's hard to tell whether this is a paranormal event or just some weirdo trying to scare you. You say he was laughing and that's probably because he had such a good time screwing around. It good be a ghost, though, you never know. However, in this case, 'd say it was just some weirdo.

that story is the creepest thing ever! I have a 7 month old son and when he gets older and gets scared of something I'm going to have to act brave like you and I don't know if I can do it! I give you props for staying in that house. Id run outside and stay out there until his parents came home... Unless I saw that guy outside then id go to a neighbors or something haha 😲

Wow...Thats crazy. But I have to say that while that didn't appear to be a ghost, sometimes people are scarier then ghosts just because you never know what they are capable of or what their intentions are. I didn't like the shiat about the laughing makes me think something was really wrong with that freak. But also I think some ghosts can probably appear to look very life like. Who knows.

It doesn't sound like it was necessarily a ghost. It sounds more like some freak who had nothing better to do than to creep around the neighborhood scaring children. Very strange! Thanks for sharing your story. ~Shelby ❤

A prankster in life... Maybe? That one is pretty high on the creepy meter. Good job being brave. With as many ghosts I've encountered only one I'm not scared of. And that one lives with my parents.

WOW that is creepy why was he laughing maybe he thought he was funny upsetting people. He got them out of the house though and I guess that was what he wanted. I have seen 3 ghosts and the 4th one I heard. People who don't believe in ghosts don't have a gift and they have never seen one that why. I enjoyed reading your story thanks for sharing it with us. 😊

Wow. I would of ran out of their as soon as I heard the tapping and knocking with no one there! Oh and I think the reason he was laughing is because you kept answering the door and he would dissapear or because he made the kid cry.

i don't really have a beleive in Ghosts, there fore it didn't freak me out to much. I have had thosands of encounters with Ghosts, and seriously, next time I suggest blind folding and ear plugging the kid so he doesn't give you a head ache
