These shadow people could have followed you and your family. They could have started showing up around your daughter too. But you found a way to beat it, while helping others. Sounds like things are peaceful now. Good.

Its good that you can relate to someone and share your experiences with them. Maybe you didn't hear the footsteps up the stairs as you got used to it and just blocked it out but I could be completely wrong. Other than that I have no idea but thanks for sharing.:)
