It does appear that some get really offended when a fake tale pops up here. I find the best way to deal with it is to have a little fun with it, rather than a verbal attack. But, people react differently- and some are more passionate about certain subjects than others.

herohead,
It may help to know that there have been many of us, myself included, that have reached out to this particular author in the past. Only to be played with and treated as fools. That was when we were honestly giving this person our best efforts. But, as you can see, it never did any good. We were pushed into a corner, one by one. So it isn't that it is just any story, it's many stories. And that's just the plain truth. The reactions you are witnessing are from nothing more than exasperation at this point.

herohead - thank you for not responding to my remark with rudeness. You could have and I very much appreciate that. Sometimes there is a very fine line between the stories and having had one rejected myself (after having had 12 accepted LOL), I had a hard time understanding why some of the "questionable" stories were being published.

I agree with you about the rude comments. There are different ways of going about expressing disbelief, but some people are more outspoken then I am, and I'm guessing you are also. And then you have the o/p's who refuse to get the hint and it takes bluntness to get the point across.

Personally, I hope CF takes the advice I have given him/her and stops with the "theatrical" writing. But I'm guessing he/she probably won't. I just refuse to read anymore of the stories. And that is my choice.

hero: I completely agree with you, no one wants to hear people being mean to them about there stories/experiences, whatever, but this person has been using the same 'devices' in their stories e.e 4,5,1,20,8, has appeared in their stories lots, it spells out D,E,A,T,H. I completely accept the fact that people can be very mean to people on comments, but that's how some people convey their opinions

No but we choose for our selves what is true and what isnt. None of these stories can be proved 100%

I have read many stories in here that sounds a bit far fetched, and some I belived in but they could in fact be just a "story"

That being said I still think that there a lots of ways to tell someone that you don't believe them, without being rude.
People readely accept some wierd story about demons/angels/poltergeist and whatever.
This does not give everybody the right to be rude to an author of a story.
I domt like stephen king but I didn't write to him asking him to stop writing rubbish books.

Just my humble opinion

'I do not approve of the way people are telling this person to stop writing these stories. I find it rude and this can't be ok!.'

But this isn't a fake ghost story website!

Miracles it was not to step on anyone, I like that the forum is open for people that doesn't believe in the story.

I do not approve of the way people are telling this person to stop writing these stories. I find it rude and this can't be ok!.

I personally don't believe this one but I would never tell people off like some of the people in here have done.

If it really is the case that everybody finds this story to be pure fiction then maybe the guideline you talk about should be looked over again.

I am not a mod and don't want to be, but as a user I hope that our opinions matter.

LOL at Bluefox's comment
I agree with shellzy
And personally, about your story? Are you kidding me? You want us to believe that some half a dozen nut job 'ghosts' are out to drag you to the bathroom? Have you been watching too many B-Grade horror movies? 'Piece of paper drifting down to your hands'? Seriously... Take this BS elsewhere and let some of us with real experiences share and seek assistance if needed.

I'm really sorry but I do not believe this is a true story, I just feel its to well thought out to be real, I mean, writing in red marker? Finishing off with 'there are six of us' sounds like the end of a horror drama episode, if this is real, sorry for being mean, if it is not, please find another website that is for fake ghost stories, not real ones

herohead - the mods have certain guidelines we have to adhere to. When, and if, you become a mod you will become privy to those guidelines. I don't mean to be a smartass here, but sometimes there are situations beyond our control.

You must have a chalkboard for a mirror- and the first person in recorded history to have such open dialogue with the un-dead. I suggest writing a book and contacting the good folks from "Paranormal State" to remedy this. Sounds like a case for Chip Coffee- Psychic at Large.

I know and agree with you. Bit still I would like to point out the fact that these stories are screened by a mod before allowed inhere. Dont blame the author alone...

Puh-leaze.

Nancy Drew mysteries are scarier. And more realistic.

You must have a hug mirror or small handwriting.

CF - do you already have the next one ready to submit or are you going to scrap these stories now after seeing the reaction you're getting from this one?

It's hard for people to take someone seriously when they are continuously dragging out stories that "appear" to be nonsense. Those of us who have read this one are already preparing ourselves for "Mirror Writing 2."

You are taking a serious chance on having no one to support you or listen to you when you have a real, honest-to-God experience and you need advice and help. When you submit THAT story and it gets published, people might look at your name and bypass it because of the history attached and assume it's nothing but b*llsh*t. Ever hear of Aesop's Fable, "The Boy Who Cried Wolf"? If not, look it up.

I'd seriously consider whether or not I wanted to submit another "story" if it really is just fiction. People appear to be tiring of it. 😐

CF,
Don't you think you've dragged this out a little too far? You seem to be the only one amused anymore. I'm just not buying it.

These series of stories are getting more and more ridiculous! And now you have 6 entities in your home? Does that mean we can all "look foward" to reading six more of these b.s stories? Please stop with this crap and give someone a chance who has a REAL experience to post! 😠
