Dear sds,
I appreciate the welcome and the well meaning instructions too 😁, but as you know, we all got things to do that we gotta do 😐
So very often than not, I find myself unable to visit you, my wonderful companions of the other realm πŸ€”
As I had said earlier, it is a bitter-sweet feeling to know that one's been missed...

Regards & Respect to you too my friend.

I am so sorry that I couldn't visit more often, but it really tenders my heart to know that I've been missed.

Katfromthepast22 - please take into consideration, before chastising one of our members, the fact that they didn't publish their story. Sceptic-Ari did nothing more than submit his story. We, the mods, published it. If you feel a hand should be smacked, then it is our hand, not his.

But, in all honesty, this is one story that needed to be told as Griff and many others have stated. Ari didn't fill his story with a lot of unbelievable nonsense. He told it honestly. You may not appreciate it, but the rest of us do.

Thank you for your opinion.

To be honest Katfromthepast22, I appreciate stories like this one. They remind everyone that not everything that happens without an initial explanation is paranormal. Sometimes it takes a little detective work to find the cause is usually something you wouldn't have even considered in a million years.

Thanks for your post Sceptic-Ari 😁

I have a news on something very important;

There is an Indian TV show which seems to steal stories/accounts off the internet from sites such as ours' and televises them as someone else's experience.
I am sure that atleast one such story was siphoned from an Indian member's account. I read it in the comments section too, that people were informing the author about the plagiarism.

Help me find that story?

Sceptic-Ari,
Had to comment about your loveable pooch. I have had three dogs that had parvo, two died from it, one lived. I went online with the last one, because sadly I couldn't afford the vet. Between paychecks. Anyway, as you well know, becides fluids which yours is on, chicken broth etc.,

Give your dog raw honey. Couple drops every few hours. Be careful about honey that does not say raw, as a lot of honey when cooked looses it's elements. Honey is known for curing lots of things, parvo included. It is natural sugars, it will hike your dogs sugar level, which at this point greatly needed, Look it up if you like. It helped my last doggie survive.

Sorry I'm not trying to sell anything on your page. Just trying to give good advise.

My apologies to all my well meaning friends on YGS, esp to dear Watson.
I have been absent from this site for a long time now. I do have excuses, but that doesn't exempt me from reprimand.
First of all, I got locked out of my account by either a virus or some other malicious agent which seemed to change my passwords. It is also possible that someone was playing a trick on me.
When I finally accessed all my accounts after over a week, calamity struck.
My pup, who was chewing grass the whole week and throwing up once a day or maybe twice, started spewing like a malfunctioning faucet from both ends. To add to the woes, he started to lose blood too from the nether.
The vet declared an attack of the infamous and fatal Parvo. Thus,no food, no water, only saline drips with heavy dosages of intravenous antibiotics, antacids and anti nausea drugs.
So now, though Boltu is puncture ridden, sporting swollen bum, and half his normal size, he is showing signs of improvement and has eaten a little boiled rice this morning.
Thus I stand here, to receive my well deserved punishment.

Lol! Yes, Val, I would say that the cat (er, cricket?) is out of the bag πŸ˜†

Ari, Awe, but it's so FUN hiding behind the leaves, watching, laughing, and chirping to myself... I wasn't sure if you got my pinocchio/jiminey cricket reference... You are so fluent when you write, and personable, I sometimes forget that you're in a different country and might not have seen American movies! (even a classic, like Pinocchio!)

It certainly seems like there is a species of cricket in India, which sounds exactly what the anklets jingling sounds like... If there is one, I am sure there may be others - if BlueRose's father heard it, the "running away" could have been the cricket flying or jumping further away as it chirped, startled because her dad burst out of the door. Okay, the moment of truth - Was I correct... Was that the theory you were alluding to? πŸ˜†

Lol Val, now you sound like Tinkerbell. So cute!

Once, many years ago, I was reaching for something on the top shelf at the supermarket. Of course, I couldn't quite reach it. My eldest daughter, at that stage shorter than I, offered to take off her shoes and stand on the bottom shelf, to see if she could reach. Unexpectedly, a male arm shot out above our heads, claiming the object of my desire. Both of us whipped around to see who this perpetrator could be. There stood one of the most gorgeous men I have ever seen - with a brilliant smile, he deposited the jar into my hands. Before I could bluster my thanks, he flashed another smile, turned on his heal and strode off.
Nicky declared then and there, that she never wanted to be tall, so that good-looking men could come to Her rescue.

Hmm...Nicky didn't wish hard enough, did she? πŸ˜‰

I honestly never thought there was anything in that particular story to 'strike an emotional chord' as Val so delicately put it. Other stories of mine, yes, but that one?

Once again I crave your forgiveness, for my misunderstanding - some days, I am a little slow on the uptake - must be old age creeping up! πŸ˜•

My Dear 'Holmes',
Points noted, on the notepad.
And you juggle very well, if you get my drift.
I am not so gifted *sigh*.

Still,I shall try and turn out to be a worthy assistant.

Dear Fergie,
Thank You 😳
And I did not dare to read the story again, only the comments between you and me, because I remember last time after reading your stories, something fell into my eyes and they were so red and swollen afterwards.
Looking forward to your new story though. I am sure that will be another interesting read.

Regards

Dear "Watson" *giggles*,
One never knows when insperation will strike or a memory triggered. Might I suggest a small notepad to jot down such things? Personally, I keep two, one for when shared experiences jar memories, and I think I might want to share here, and the other for ideas for stories that I post on another site, that will NEVER be shared here. (Simply because they are either non-paranormal related or a work of fiction and have no place on this site.)
Just a thought.

Lol Ari,

I only give praise, when I think praise is due, as I am sure is the case with other posters as well. So what has been dished out to you, you truly deserve!

Um, I recall you giving your 'short version' on "Angel's House"...if memory serves me correctly.

Yeah Ari, dig into the recesses of your mind, please. I an sure you can ferret out something. We all appreciate your writing.

I have submitted another narrative, which should be posted soon. Not my 'story' per se, but one about my youngest granddaughter. Keep tissues handy!

Dear Loch,
Sorry I took this long to reply.
Thank you for reading and appreciating.
Would love to read your stories too. Do submit one.
And you are absolutely correct in saying that being brave means persevering inspite of fear. I think you might have a lot more to share. Keep posting.

Aw Fergie!
Stop spoiling me with the praises!Duh! ❀
You are embarrassing me! 😳
Thank you so much for lavishing such accolades on me. Thank you.
Other posters have also been too kind;the proof of which you see in my story's comments section.
And yeah! Time has wings! It's been a long time and I am ashamed I don't recall which story of yours I graced with the 'short version' πŸ˜‰ Please gimme a hint, okay!
About the part where I write another one of this non-ghost stories... I am seriously running low on fuel Fergie! I do not know whether I have it in me to churn out another. Maybe in the deep recesses of my memory...yeah!
Thank you for reading it. Love you for the comment.
Keep posting...

Dear Ari,
At last I get a chance to comment on your well written narrative. I remember, almost a year ago, you gave me the 'short version' in a reply to one of my submissions. (Wow! Is it that long ago already? - How time flies!) 😲
I knew you had it in you to deliver another memorable account - congratulations! Just Look at All the favourable posts you have accumulated in response to your story!

Do it again Ari, especially if you can debunk the occurrences. I love it. ❀

I really appreciate this story! I do a small amount of amateur paranormal investigating myself and the one thing I have learnt is to approach every situation logically and never to jump to conclusions. I respect you investigated the situation regardless of any fears/doubt. True courage is not to be fearless, but to be afraid yet still press on. It's only human to be afraid of the unknown. Thank you.
Cheers Muchly
Loch

Nice story. Such thing do happen to people. You cared to investigate so the reality is here. Some body else who wouldn't have investigated, could have turned it into a real ghost experience. Thanks for sharing.

Dear psychicmama,
Glad you enjoyed my story and had a hearty laugh 😁
And yeah, I think I have a fighting chance at defeating a snail in a race πŸ˜‰
The bravery.Me, not so brave.Nah!
My parents, absolutely fearless in these situations. When I was a kid, about 80 kg ago, whenever I got scared because I thought I saw a scary thing somewhere, or I was frightened to go to some corner of my own little house because I was (am) a chicken, one of them would just pick me up and take me to that scary place and show me around. They would and still do say that,"See.Nothing's there and nothing can touch you."
Thanks for appreciating my writing style.
Do read my other story at leisure...

Don't sweat yourself kiddo. You didn't say anything rude or unkind.
I was apologising because you expected to read a ghost story and I gave you a cricket story instead πŸ˜‰
