missamerica;

Glad you replied.
Those additional details make it clear that this is a phenomenon that has been generously witnessed as paranormal.
The viewing of the images, then, is not just your own visual experience.
Makes a big difference as to whether or not people are only seeing static images explainable as the result of personal interpretation.
The changing images appear to point to a genuinely paranormal source.

The "horrible" feeling described in paragraph 2 is an indication of a paranormal presence, and perhaps the situation wherein the baby would stop crying. I had a wrong view of the visuals, but those 2 items sound extraordinary and would indicate a paranormal atmosphere in the house in general.
Thanks for coming back and adding those details! 😊

Hi, this is Donnalee the person who submitted this story and the photos, I had to reregister so here I am to reply to the comments.
I understand the different views people have and I respect them, but as for this being
Something that only I am seeing on the bricks?
Is not true. I have had friends come over and not know a thing about the faces and they themselves tell me what they see.
My brother who now lives here since a year ago, one day asked me if I could see the images he seen, we have taken photos and a day later taken the same photo and it is not the same, I did do research on this property and house and found out that not only is this town (Clayton, Calif) listed as the town with the most paranormal activity in California but it seems that this entire property and it's surroundings was a indian burial ground, plus we live in front of a huge mountain called Mt. Diablo (devils mountain).
I am a christian and my parents are ministers and I have prayed for this house
Room by room, we don't have any things happening like lights going off etc... We once did, but not anymore but the images are
Still there and believe it or not they do change. I realize that this is hard to believe for some people but it does happen and I would be glad to submit more photos if anyone would like. Thank you, Donna

I must be blind. It does not matter how many time I look at which ever angle I can't see any faces at all or animals

Another point on this--anyone merely looking at the brick pics will go away with a conclusion based on what they see with the NATURAL eye in current real time.

What Donnalee has seen, by contrast, is a series of SUPERNATURAL manifestations that reflect only a static natural appearance to other observers.
Her experience is intensely subjective from INSIDE the experience.
Everyone else will be seeing her object samples from OUTSIDE the experience, unless they are included in the visual experience by the source thereof--which source is supernatural.

Under these circumstances, donnalee has the frustrating task of proving to her peers that little green men, invisible to them, have been moving around daily upon the face of a given object.
Her peers will always see images explained by natural means, or nothing at all.

Donnalee--after a second consideration of your account, I recognize that there's a flip side to my previous comments on subjective visualisation.

Your paragraph 2 includes another human witness.
Also, faces AND words don't appear out of the void onto random pieces of paper when the paper is colored over.
Nor are figures animated and changed on material surfaces all by themselves, no matter whose seeing this phenomena.

It's common knowledge that spirits can project and manipulate images visible to some people but not others.
Your story, as written, appears to be another such case.

Don't know if you still live in that house, but a search into its history, or for occult materials in or around it (even buried items), might be revealing for you.

Both Shane and Martin make good points here.

If there ARE any paranormal faces in the photos it's difficult to establish who among any 2 or more viewers is right about what's actually there.

The reason seems to be that, if either crystal clear or blurry, the brick impressions are always open to a personal interpretation per viewer.
The same point applies to any percieved animations or pattern changes in the impressions over time.
In the psychiatric field, this type of subjective visualisation is represented in the Rorschach test.

These are just photos of bricks, and blurry ones at that. If you WANT to see images in bricks, it's not hard. Same thing with clouds, or anything else you can imagine. Hence the "Virgin Mary" appearing on pieces of toast, and in water stains on floors and things like that. Sorry, but I think you're freaking yourself out over nothing.

I keep looking but I can't see the faces. Sometimes, I think we see what we want to see and at others we see in shapes of things around us what's familiar to us. If something looks like a face it becomes a face.

I don't really understand these pictures, it is just a bunch of photos of bricks. I mean, I can pick faces out of them if I try but they just look like every day, normal old bricks to me. I thought you said you took pictures of faces on the carpet and walls and stuff, can you post those? It seems that would be a little easier to make something out, or there would at least be more of a contrast. I just can't say that these photos show anything but bricks.

Honestly. This looks like a case of "matrixing", finding patterns to look like recognizable images. It happens.

Sounds to me like you just have an overactive imagination. I honestly don't see anything in the bricks... And bricks have patterns and shapes to them so if you're looking and trying to make yourself see something then you will. It's just like looking at clouds.

honestly I can't see any type or kind of faces appear. Did you take a few pictures in the same spot? If yes then there's surely some changing in that particular area I can see. But through the description of your 4 months old son, then definitely there is something in that house of yours. And more likely a negative spirit since the person came and have a negative feeling like that. I think you should snap more pictures randomly around your house and particularly where your little son look at the most.

My carpet is really bad, for me to see faces in it...
My granddaughter was two I was playing a game that had a dragon on it, she told me she drew the dragon, its only a picture she scribbled on and I outlined what she drew looks like a man with a cape on it... If I knew how to post that drawing I keep on my computer all the time I would show you what she did.

Another time she was 4 and when she did her scribble it again looked like the same one she did when she was 2.

well at least mustang and I see a dog in one of the pics lol...
yes use to take my kids to the park lay on the hill and look at the clouds they say what they see, and I couldnt' I tell what I seen they couldn't we all see different...
Long ago in my drivers class we had a simulation I think it called where our instructor had a vhs tape in of a car accident. We all had to write down what we seen. There were 20 of us in the room, and when we read what we seen, we all seen it happen different, with some simularities like the most of us seen the same amount of people some didn't.
So everyone on here looking at those pics, some of us see stuff others just don't. Like the second row the pig, I don't see the pig myself.

Trying not to spoil anybody's fun but seeing shapes and faces in stuff like carpet, tiles, bricks etc. Is perfectly normal. It's the way our brains is wired up. Remember laying on your backs as a kid and picking shapes out of the clouds, same difference. It's harmless fun 😊.

Boy Flutterofwings, you are really studying these pics aren't you! 😊 I actually do see the pig face like FRAWIN did in second row, first pic and a puppy in row three last pic. I wonder if people aren't being persuaded to see something because of what other people are saying. Hmmmm...?
As I sit and concentrate on them I, of course, will eventually make things out of the bricks but it gives me a headache to sit and stare that long and hard at the monitor. πŸ˜†~Shelby ❀

I want to go ahead and add that I also find faces in things. For instance in my tiles, I see faces, hideous faces in them. A lot of times I always make out skull shapes. WEIRD!

Hi Donna. I must say, I'm sorry, I do not see the faces either. Like Martin said, the human brain is wired to see a face in just about anything. Sorry!

You are not alone in this experience... I moved in to a new home in Queen Creek, AZ 2 years ago and have seen the "faces" ever since. I have attributed it to the possibility that ancient people lived and buried on the spot where the house is built. A lot of the figures and faces quite remarkably resemble the pictures of apache warriors in some of the books I have checked out from the library in my quest to figure this out. I have never felt that feeling of something "evil" in regards to this, but I HAVE felt that it is the result of a spiritual presence of some kind. It is a bit of a trip when the faces change. I also discovered the phenomenon when I saw the faces on the digital camera I had at the time.

Donnalee,

I wanted to share something with you that I find interesting about your story and pictures.

Awhile back, I quit taking Xanax and had to go through detox. The detox lasted over two months and was a living hell.

Oddly, one of my side effects was that for about a week, I saw faces EVERWHERE! Just like you, in the carpet, on the walls, the celings. Animals, people... Just faces everywhere. I became really disturbed by them, but after about a week, that particular side effect went away.

All people have a tendancy to pick out familiar patterns and face patterns are some of the most instinctive to find, as shown by studies with babies.

Perhaps you are taking some medication, or stopped taking some? Just a thought, as I have experienced the same phenomenon.

I totally know what you are talking about! My ex boyfriend's house was like this: faces EVERYWHERE... The bricks, the walls, curtains, bathtub, carpet, even the fake log in the fireplace!
The house was so creepy I could not stand to be alone. I wish now I had taken pics.

Donna,

The only photo where I can make out what I would deem to be "scary faces" on the walls would be on face12.jpg, where I see two faces (a large one on the left, and a smaller one on the right). However, I'm wondering if the only reason I am seeing them is because I am specifically trying to look for them. I think if someone just showed me a copy of the pictures and said "What do you see?" I might not see anything. Sorry.

I see most of the faces, donnalee, but like Abby said, our brains are wired to detect faces out of chaotic patterns, so I don't think it's anything to worry about, it may just be that this specific type of material makes it easy to them up, like clouds.

I am sorry also Donna, I just can't see them. Not that it means your story is any less true. For what one person may be witnessing another may not. It may be such a thing that those of us here are not going to be able to see what you do. It could be something of a local nature and those outside of its limits can not experience it.

Peace, Love, and Luck be with you.

Sorry, Donna, but I can't see the faces on the walls, unless I make myself look for the faces. To me, they are not horrific, but just faces.

This search for faces is the same as cloud watching and searching for formations within the clouds. We have all done this as children, but many of us forget as we grow older.

Imagined or not, this is your story and your interpretation of the faces.

I do believe that such formations are there. There is more than what meets the naked eye or within this dimension.
