Insects, The Girl And Dreams

My aunt has a very high consciousness when it comes to spirituality, so she has had contact with the supernatural. I, too, have some sort of connection when it comes to paranormal activity, but it's not as intense as her. My aunt lives in Florida and I live in Canada but she does come to visit at least once a year for long periods of time. While she's staying, I feel that her spiritual energy somehow increases my connection with spirits whether we are right next to each other or 40 miles away.

Last time she visited, she was staying at my grandmother's house which was about a 20 minute drive away from where I was living at the time. I hadn't yet been to see her, but since she arrived I had been experiencing strange things. It doesn't matter what I was doing whether it be reading, watching t.v., doing homework or even listening to music, I would always see the same thing out of the corner of my eye...insects. From ants, to spiders, to centipedes, to half spider-half centipede; any bug I knew of, I saw. It scared me a lot because bugs are disgusting, especially spiders. I'm terrified of any bug being anywhere near me. I would see them crawling on the table next to me or on the floor, rarely on my clothes. That went on for awhile, until she left, of course, is when it stopped.

The next event occurred a little after I started seeing the bugs. Yes, my aunt was still in town. I was using the bathroom one afternoon, and I don't usually close the door especially if no one is the house, which no one was that day. I was on the phone with my best friend at the time and for no reason in particular I looked towards the open bathroom entry and for literally 2 seconds, I saw the outline of a young girl pop out from the side of the doorway. She was like a shadow, no features anywhere on her... Just a black transparent girl who disappeared right before my eyes. I almost fell off the toilet. I started freaking out, which lasted about 30 minutes. I haven't seen anything like that since then, but I discovered something that could connect to that incident, which I will talk about another time.

The last "events" I guess you could call them, occurred not when my aunt was visiting... But after I came back from a job which lasted 3 days. I was working with my cousin as a secretary for her dad's girlfriend Niki. The thing about Niki is that she is religious and she always has high spirits and happily having fun. I don't understand why the dreams I am going to talk about would have started as soon as I got back from working with her.

My first dream made me wake up feeling rather uncomfortable: I was in my dad's house with my cousin Casie. We were hanging out in my brother's room when all of a sudden I got this really bad sort of uncomfortable feeling. Outside of his room in my kitchen I heard things moving around and I sensed a bad spirit. Things started moving around in my brother's room as well and by this point I was very scared. I asked my cousin if she was scared too, but all she said was, "I'm going to make us some supper." And I woke up.

My second dream occurred in my dad's room where I was sleeping at the time, which freaked me out even more. I remember feeling uncomfortable before I fell asleep and then: I was laying down on my dad's bed (same way I fell asleep in, so I thought I was awake still in my dream). When I woke up, feeling not so great, I looked into the big mirror in front of my dad's bed and saw a very faint shadow, which you could hardly see. I heard a noise coming from my dad's closet and instantly felt extremely scared; as though if I didn't leave the room right that second something awful would happen. I got up out of the bed and felt a presence behind me. I ran as fast as I could out of the room and as soon as I stepped foot out of there, I felt completely normal. That made me worried but I walked back to my room anyways where my boyfriend resided. I got into bed with him and we started to cuddle. Then I woke up.

When I awoke from this dream, my dad's room was a little colder then it had been when I feel asleep in there. I'm not sure if that means something or if it got cold because it was the morning still and his windows aren't that great. But it really made me worried because that was the second dream I had about a bad presence, except this time I had the dream about the room I was in!

This is the last dream I had since I was there, and it was the longest and a little creepier then the other ones: I was in the living room with my mom. We were on the couch laying down and watching t.v. All of a sudden, all the lights in my house went on. I got up to turn them all off, not thinking much of it, when I noticed my back door was unlocked. I went to go lock it, when I had the urge to look towards the garage. When I looked, I saw that my garage door was closed and that there was a very bright, blinding light coming from the bottom of the door. (Note: My garage door is never closed, in fact it's really hard to close because it's old and moisture in the air made the wood expand a little bit.) I instantly got a bad feeling that there was a bad spirit behind that door, so I ran back to the living room to tell my mom. She told me she felt it too and that I should communicate with it. I thought she was crazy and then she told me it was coming. Scared, I put my shirt over my face so I wouldn't be able to see anything. I felt that it was in front of me and, through my shirt, I saw a finger point towards me and then walk away. I moved my shirt and my mom told me the spirit was coming back, so this time I watched as it came back and it was in the form of a little girl with black long straight hair with a white dress on. I didn't feel fear or sense that she was bad so I decided to talk to her. Her face was very pale and she had what looked like the little half egg containers that a Kinder Surprise would come in. (For those who don't know what a Kinder Surprise is, Google it and it's the orange things). She stood in front of me and they popped off her eyes revealing what looked like scribbles or * * those kinds of stars for eyes only bigger. She was talking to me but no words came out, or not that I remember anyways. From there, my dream changed to something non-relevant.

First of all, my mom hates when I talk about my experiences and it scares her so the fact that she was encouraging me in my dream was very odd. Second, now that I look back on it, the little girl didn't scare me at all... But her eyes really creep me out when I think about it. And third of all, I haven't been back to my dad's house since I've had all those dreams, which by the way I haven't had any dreams like that since.

So, I apologize if this was long but I wanted to get all that out there... Maybe get some thoughts about it. Thank you for reading.

I am just going to say, it was not long. Also, I really loved this story. There was so much great detail!
I am kind of curious, do you sometimes get a time of year when you see a lot of bugs? That could be an explanation to you bug problem. We get a lot of bugs where I live.
This is concerning the second dream. Sometimes when we sleep for a while, it gets colder.
I hope you have found peace with the bad things you were talking about!

Okay A) Never discount feelings of discomfort, at least not right away. Your instincts do know when something is amiss and those instincts send impulses to your brain to let you know. Sometimes your instincts can be off kilter (paranoia is an example of this) but when you get the feeling of impending danger, trust your instincts even if they have been proven wrong before. It might seem like a waste of time, but keeping yourself and your loved ones safe is never a waste.

B) Some spirits might mean you harm, but not all of them, even the ones that use the voices of your loved ones. They could be using those voices because they know they are voices that will get you to respond and they need you to respond. They might be trying to get your attention for some reason. They might need help that they think you can give or they might just be lonely. Don't ignore them though. I found out first hand what happens when a spirit gets frustrated or desperate. That's how I ended up with a broken thumb last year. I don't think it meant to break my thumb, it was just trying to get me to respond and they only had another week before I left.

C) Dreams are another way spirits will try to contact you. They might actually try the dreams FIRST because they would require less effort to manifest in a dream.

Skystorm13,

Your exactly right. From what I've read online, answering to a voice that sounds like a family member or someone you know when it absolutely can't be (in my case), can only mean trouble.

But ignoring a spirit can sometimes lead to a bad outcome too.

Lou,

I have described the scene with the little girl in my bathroom as detailed as possible. There wasn't much more then that. It was a two second outlined shadow figure of a girl, not much more to tell. The reason you might think that I skipped over it, is because I actually do think the dreams are more important and they too are more recent.

The little girl in my bathroom doorway happened a little over a year ago, as well as the insects. My dreams happened a little over a month ago.

Girlie,

Your right when you say I could have been over thinking it, except I had no such thoughts before I saw the first bug. And they weren't blurry or scurrying by fast. I saw them out of the corner of my eye, clear as day. I could make out which bug it was, centipede, ant, spider etc. I know when I'm over thinking something because I do it quite often, but like I said, I wasn't having any thoughts about the followed until it happened.

But iv had similar experiances. I sometimes feel a bad presence is watching me! 😕 I think the best thing to do is try to ignore it. Dont try to summon it or speak with it! Your just inviting it to mess with you...

I think a lot of it is that your are OVER thinking. Why not try and see if maybe it could have been you who made those sound, or your hair that made those bugs. Plus all the creepy feelings you may have could just been you thinking that it's dangerous. Next time it happens, clam down, breath, and think. Try and recreate it, if you can't then you may have something.

xxibonihs,

I do feel that dreams are relevant in the case of paranormal events to the degree that when we are being effected by spirits in our conscious hours, they will also try to contact, manipulate, or warn us in or semi-to unconscious states as well. What I do not understand about your story is that you went into a significant level of detail regarding dreams you had about having paranormal experiences that "creeped you out". But you blew right past describing the actual paranormal experience you had with the little girl in the bathroom... With regards to what evidence or feelings you have about her. That is what we would like to hear about.
I too, have experienced increased paranormal activity when someone as, or more sensitive than myself is in my presence. Just like a magnet drawing metal filings, two magnets draw at least twice as much, if not an exponential amount to them.
