It happened when I was 8 or 9 years old, in our home. My older sister and I shared a room and bed. As a child, I was chicken-hearted. Every time I had to something I would ask my sister or somebody else to accompany me. Like when I needed to get something upstairs etc. One night or dawn (I'm not sure about the exact time, it's been a long time, I'm 32 now), I woke up to the sound of the chamber pot cover placing on our bedroom's wooden floor. My mom always puts the chamber pot in our room in case we want to pee, we didn't have a bathroom in our room. I never peed alone, I always waited for my sister to pee first then I would pee while she was awake. The chamber pot was just beside our bed. When I heard that sound, I immediately sat on the bed and looked to the direction where the chamber pot was because I also wanted to pee! To my surprise, there was nobody there. I saw my sister sleeping. I was so scared I lay back down and closed my eyes. I couldn't cover myself with my blanket, because my blanket was on the end of the bed. I was too afraid to move.
As I laid there frozen, I heard pee dropping down the pot, then it closed the cover. Then I heard it walking around the room, like it was looking for something. It went to the dresser, making noise with our staff there. My sister was in deep sleep I guess. I was praying she'd wake up, but she never did. Then after the dresser, that thing went to play with our toys. I had a baby grand piano in that room; I heard it press 2 or 3 keys. Then press the button of my sister's telephone toy, it was a short ring sound. I was like really frozen scared during that time. I still didn't move. Maybe that thing knew all the time that I was awake. Suddenly, it threw something to my direction. I heard it hit the wall just right beside my face. Then it left.
I'm not sure what it was but I'm very sure it was not a dream. That morning when I woke up, I told my mom about it, of course she didn't believe me. She told me that I was just dreaming. But when I told her that it threw something at me, we went to search what it was. And there it was a nail cutter from the dresser. But my mom still insisted it was a dream. Maybe to help me just forget about it.
There are lots of unexplainable things happening in that house until now. I'll tell my other stories on my next post. Thank you for reading.
