I really enjoyed reading this story. It was, as Nikita said, amazing and really sad. And, in my opinion, love overrules everything, including age. Got that from experience...

DragonStorm - before I comment on your story, I want to address a comment by DemonTeddy. I fell in love with my son's dad when I was 9. I am a complete believer in love at first sight.

Now my comments on your story. BTW, I shouldn't have read this at work. Tears, sad ones and good ones ❤ There are some people who can be in a room full of people and not have to talk to each other or even be within touching distance, but can "feel" each other. My son's dad and I are like that. Other people notice it when we're in the same room with each other. We don't even have to be looking at each other. You and Gary were fortunate enough to have had that too. My heart breaks for you for the "what might have beens" but, even though it sucks when people say this, I'm going to, everything happens for a reason. I have my theory about why it happened, just don't feel that this is the place to share it. But you are lucky that Gary is still with you and that he is okay and that he isn't a tortured soul. This is a special kind of love, DragonStorm, one to treasure. ❤

Thank you for sharing your story with us. I know parts of it had to have been hard.

[at] Champion Some would say that 15 is too young to feel true love, nevermind understand it. It's just as well I'm not that naive, huh?
It's a shame you didn't get to confirm your feelings with the girl.

And yes, Dragon. I agree with Nikita with the comment about this post being very powerful and sad. I actually looked over this post twice before deciding to post, Lolz.

Thanks for sharing, I like reading posts like this~

when I was fifteen I was in love with this girl I grew up with but felt like she was out of my league so I never pursued a relationship with her even though she did everything she could to get my attention and I was too stupid to notice. I still love her after twenty-five years and I found out a few years ago that she feels the same way about me and always has but we both have our own familys and can never act on our feelings. She would leave her husband for me but I will not allow our forbidden love to destroy other peoples lives. We have never even shared a kiss and never will! I would say cirumstances are everything. I think Gary wants to spend time just watching over you, his one true love!

Nikita ~ I'm glad you liked it, thank you.

Champion ~ I honestly have no idea, that's not something I could ever know, As we got older it wasn't the age that was the problem it was our circumstances, We missed a lot of opportunities, and it's lessons like these that help you get that inspiration to give people and things a chance the second you can before it becomes too late, and all you are left with is regret, if that makes sense?

DragonStorm88, do you think if there wasn't the age gap that you two might of had a happy life together? Love can cross boundaries as you are a testament to that. I hope you can find love again and God Bless You.

What an amazing story. Really sad, but at the same time it's so powerful.
