Strange Hotel Room 2

I told him the truth that I didn't do it. I'm sure he realized this as well when he heard me answering from the other room as it was happening. So we are both scared at this point. It's around 2:30 am and I really wanted to just get my stuff and leave. I didn't do it because my grandma told me before that if you leave a haunted place at night, like a cemetary, that spirits can follow you. I didn't want whatever was doing this to follow me home so I decided to just push through it. He and I were talking about everything that happened and I told him about my pillow being moved. As we are talking we started to hear someone whistling. It was someone whistling a tune and we got creeped out. We tried to investigate the sound and see where it was coming from. I remember he opened the front door and it was so thick with fog. The fog was not unusual and we couldn't see anybody out there. The whistling was louder in our room than outside and that scared us even more.

I stayed up until it was daylight, because I was too scared to sleep. I ended up sleeping for a little bit and when we got up we checked out, ate the free hotel breakfast and left. He left town and I drove home, but I couldn't stop thinking of all the strange events. When I got home I told my whole family. My sister asked me if someone could have snuck into the room while we were out and moved my pillow. I told her that it didn't seem logical because we had valuables and a laptop. I couldn't imagine someone going through that trouble just to move my pillow then leave without stealing anything. And that still wouldn't explain everything else that happened.

I came up with the idea of calling the front desk of the hotel to ask them if they had any complaints of weird things happening in that specific room. My mom said it was a good idea and wouldn't hurt so I did. A man at the front desk answered the phone and I told him that I had a quick question. I asked him if anyone has complained about strange things from that room and he asked me what kind of things I was referring to. I told him paranormal things. His response was, "not from that room". That struck me as odd.

I told him that I stayed there the previous night and told him a little about what happened. He told me that they haven't had complaints from that room. He said that he didn't believe in ghosts and told me that he worked there for years and never saw one. He also said that once a woman complained that the ghost of a person walked into her room and then right out. He told me that he thought that she must have been on drugs. I thanked him then ended the call. I didn't really like his attitude about it and my friend and I definately were not on drugs. I'll never forget that day. Sooo weird.

This is pretty creepy. Your not the only one who had a paranormal experience if that woman saw a ghost come into her room. I would have stayed up all night too if that happened to me.

I really liked reading your experience. Its so simple yet so scary! Invisible entity throwing things! Anyways Thank God you people came out safe and unharmed the next day. Have you found out how old is that hotel and the area where it stands?...You may find this funny but you know what when me I and my spouse go for vacationing outside town if we have to stay in a hotel, then no matter how new hotel it is I always make it a habit to put on a small amount of the sacred 'ash' (an item of my religious belief) on the walls of the room where we stay... (to keep away any negative elements if there might be). Hotels and hostels are two favourite places of ghosts to hang out...:- (

This story hit a bit close to home for me, as I have had my own creepy hotel experience. I don't think you guys were imagining things. It is curious that the man specifically said, "not in THAT room". Since at least one other person has had an experience at that hotel, it is very possible that a spirit is lingering there, and I doubt it would be confined to just one room. Thanks for sharing!

I think the ghost got bored staying in that room and decided to play a few pranks. They're not harmful but they sure are creepy. I've heard many hauntings in the hotel. There's a belief that if you want to avoid being disturbed, you knock the door before entering the room. Open the door, then say aloud into the room, asking permission to stay there temporary.

In first part you think that your friend playing prank on you.but, its actually a ghost playing pranks with both of you. Just pranks... Nothing else.
No hurting and no haunting.

Not a bad ghost...!

Thank you so much for your feedback. I have a gut feeling that it was a spirit that wanted us to leave or wanted us to know that it was there for some reason. Or maybe it just enjoyed messing with us. The best part about it is that I feel like it validated my previous experiences to my friend. I know that I really shouldn't care too much, but it kind of irrates me when people don't believe me and just dismiss it. To Cascata00, that's interesting that something threw a cup in your hotel room. What's with spirits in hotels throwing things at people. They're so rude haha:P

I loved this story! Stuff like that is scary but what's nice is its not at home where you feel safe. You can at least go home and leave that room behind!

But I'd be freaked out too, I can see why, its all strange though, and well it also reminds me, this sounds short, but my family and I were on a trip, we brought our dog, it was allowed at the hotel odd, but only in the bathroom, oh well, rules vary, again we were celebrating the holiday, and we were leaving in two days, but into the hotel, there is two doors to get in and out of. One is for the hall to the main entrance and one is for the balcony, to see out the view of town. And we put the dog in the bathroom, it kept barking and barking so we put it in the car. And on the day we left, well my older brother was leaving the room collecting everyone's things and once he nearly shut the door, someone threw a cup at him, now the staff or maid wasn't in our room and I guess the hotel was old, most likely it was built in the 1950's or 60's, hard to tell, but for my brother it was pretty odd, why would anyone want to throw a cup and him, a plastic one to say the least? I think I remember someone throwing it in the trash can... 😐 😐 😲

This is very understandable story and I think the spirit just wanted to let you know it was there. I don't really know... 😁 😐 😁
