Pets In Spirit

To start our story, let me kick off with this lovely poem

Please don't mourn for me

I'm still here, though you don't see.

I'm right by your side each night and day

And within your heart I long to stay.

My body is gone but I'm always near.

I'm everything you feel, see or hear.

My spirit is free, but I'll never depart

As long as you keep me alive in your heart.

Just look for me, friend, I'm everyplace!

(author unknown)

Our maltese dog of 15 years, passed away on the 23rd of March, 2009.

Life's NOT Over! She's still with us... In spirit.

One can refer to dying as: "Simply changing Worlds." Life is not limited to what we who populate Earth, experience here. Life may, indeed, belong to the living but the living exist beyond the point of physical death when the soul leaves the body.

Allowing oneself to be open to signals and signs from the one who has left and these may include brief thoughts, mental pictures or a soft movement of air, significant dreams and even unusual colors!

There are endless ways by which they will try to communicate especially if the person desires a "signal" or "message".

I took these photo's on the 6th of APRIL, 2009 whilst we talked to our dearly departed pet's spirit in our bedroom. The only light in the room = 15Watt bed lamp.

I hope that by sharing these amazing photo's of our very special moment... Will bring you much comfort.

I did see a strange illusion. If you look near the middle of the bed really closely in the 3rd photo, you can see a guy sitting in the medatation position/ criss-cross-apple-sauce position. It was very creepy. You have a doll of some sort in spirit form or something?

I'm sorry, I don't mean to be mean to the skeptics but, have you noticed that the one shot the sixth shot, is no where near the lamp. I mean, it is POSSIBLE that the glare could reflect but it is unlikely. Growing up, my mother was, and is, photographer and she has shown me, through this picture and others, that she has never seen it to reflect that way before.

I'm not saying she SAYS and that's that, but she does usually know what shes talking about.

Everyone is analyzing this experience in terms of the camera. What I think we all need to know is, did you see those spots, or anything else, with your eyes prior?

I am so sorry for your loss. ❤

raincolor, that's because it is lens flare. Lens flare looks like that. Do a google image search for it.

I disagree with those who discredit your photos. If you look closely at some of them, you can see a head and a body to some of the light formations, like the light has two "cells". What's interesting to me is that multiple photos show this particular formation of light, in different positions, suggesting that it is indeed the same entity.

I'm very glad to know that your friend is loyal even in death. Peace,

Raincolor

The photo with the "white little orb" near my husband's head on the 8th of MAY, 2009. This photo's different from the rest because I used the build-in flash light. We've been without power/electricity and only a candle burning in the room. We never expected to capture these results on our 8 year old Olympus digital camera!

As we understood her daily routines and habits, we knew that she would be normally lying in front of our bed in the evenings and also thought that this is where she passed away and would feel safe.

The lighting in our room is of a 15 Watt fluoresent type. We observed that we could capture on camera her aura ONLY when we called out for her.

I've got her picture and some more photo's. You can have a look at them:

Maybe I have seen something different but it seems like the pillow has a form like maybe the dog was lying there. I am sorry for the loss of your pet. I just put down my 14 year Old cat and it was such a hard decision. They love us and we love them. If there are no pets in heaven then I don't want to be there. It wouldn't be heaven without them.

Its funny that write that poem. Because hear in Australia a well respected actor just passed away and he had said something very similar just before he died. I am sorry that your pet died. I know how much it hurts. Sometimes greif can distort the mind. When people are grief stricken thay often see or hear things that are not really there. You said in your story thet you took these photos while you were talking to your "pet" can you tell me how does your"pet"talk to you? Some the photos are taken at different times of the day, so how long did your talk last for?. How many times have you spoken to your "pet".Im just interested that's all. Take care. 😊

are you sure those are orbs? Cause they just look like some kinds of reflections from the lamp!

Hi Petsinspirit, first of all I want to say, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your little Maltese. I'm an extreme animal lover and I have many pets. I understand how sad it is to lose them. I had an experience with a favorite dog when I was a young girl. I had a large mix-breed farm dog that was my constant companion. She used to accompany me to my school bus stop each morning and be there to greet me after school. She was a loyal dog. After she died, I went for a long walk around the family farm and had a good cry. I actually heard the tags on her collar make a jingling noise like they had when she was alive and used to accompany me on my long walks and horseback rides! I believe that animals have spirits too and they linger when we have a special bond with them. I enjoyed your experience and thanks for shareing it with us. Peace, Celtcharm

I'm sorry, but I have to agree with Gloria. They look like some kind of reflection, you can try taking pictures in the same room making sure everything is the same (camera, lamp etc) It's a common mistake.

Sorry, but I'm not sure those are orbs... Looks more like something coming from your lamp.
