Brilliant narration Rook! Thank you so much for sharing. It is a testament to your devotion how you maintain such detailed journals from which to later reflect and see what other lessons you may pull from your experiences.

Cheers

Rook, this here final chapter really speaks to something I've been thinking of lately, the idea that some ghosts grapple with the concept of being a ghost. It seems C's Great Grandfather fits into this category. Not really evil (one hopes!), but still resulting in strong negativity.

So glad you shared all the parts to this time in your life. It will help others who may find themselves in similar situations. I've loved reading all three and I've learned heaps just from the way your journal entries are written, had a lot of 'oooh yeah of course' type of moments.
I still maintain you were ahead of your time for your age. 😆

Also love reading the back and forth from you and Ladydarke!

So good to come here and find this final part after weeks of being snowed under too busy to check YGS.😊

Dear Rook,
Simply by recounting your experiences with such detail, you're serving as a teacher to a lot of us. Your responses to others' questions have been helpful, too. This must take quite a bit of time, energy and effort; so I just wanted to say "thanks."

Dear Rook, that was really great narration and a grand finale ending. Thank God that C was relieved of his possession.

I have long since stopped touching the OB. But still it's great of you to have done such a good thing in sending back the negative energies to the board from A, B and C. Simply great.

Earlier you have a long time ago advised me about the precautions to be taken while using the OB. My advise to anyone would be not to touch the Board and use it. Still as a matter of precaution, why don't you put on your profile page the "Do's and Dont's while using the OB.

Regards and respects to you.

SDS.

PS: please also tell them not to use the board at cemeteries and places such as that.

Thanks again.

ladydarke,

Ah my friend I love your questions, and the fact you are asking them...

You mention Empathy, and I am Empathic (to the point that crowds can pose issues for me unless I am well prepared).

Am I Energy Sensitive? To that I would have to say Yes... And it seems I have always been that way, to the point I take it for granted and simply say 'my gut'. This was something that 'opened' about the time I turned twelve and was praying/studying and beginning to practice as a Solo Practioning Witch (I never joined a Coven and for the most part I have been very much 'self taught').

I must say this 'negative energy' does not always feel 'cold' nor 'positive energy' warm. It's the way the energy makes me 'feel' that gives its 'nature' away. For me it's the same with spirits as well...'cold or warm' does not determine positive or negative just as the experience of witnessing something does not make that something positive or negative, an individual has to rely on HOW the event or manifestation 'felt'...in other words... See beyond their fear of the unknown and evaluate 'how' the spirits actions felt. This 'works' because 'energy' is neutral but 'intent' is not. If an experience 'felt'...not the initial fear of the unknown... No not that. But, if an individual can 'see/feel' beyond that and feel the intent/nature of the spirit then it true nature can be determined. Poltergeist can be a exception as they are not 'always' a spirit but, can be, random telekinetic outbursts of energy from an individual and not caused by a spirit at all.

Anyway you specifically asked me this:

"I ask because I was so surprised when you didn't describe any sort of change in C's energy when the shift in drivers behind the eyes happened. I really wanted to know what that felt like energetically."

As we started 'C' was reluctant to place his finger on the Plancheete, however 'he' was in control at that time. As we progressed, and 'A' and 'B' began to talk about the sensations they were feeling and 'C' said he felt nothing I began to pay attention to him... His posture was different, more rigid... He sat 'more properly'...instead of lounging like a board teen he sat more like an older adult with good posture (I hope that makes sense). Once I turned my full attention onto him I could 'feel' a difference, how to describe it... How to...Ah, have you ever sat and talked with a Grandparent when they were remembering 'the old days' that feeling of being in the room with someone who had 'seen it all'? And yet that is not quite right... Rather than energetic youth energy I felt 'power/patience' that had been developed over time. 'C's' EYES even 'looked' old... Not 'blacked out' saucers... Not 'blood shot' but 'old' and 'wise'.

Now that I have shared this and re-read my original notes I think this may have happened because 'C's' Great Grand Father felt he had unfinished business' and perhaps thought he could 'complete it' by using this relations (his great grandson's body).

I hope I answered your questions, please, and this is for anyone, please ask more if you have them.

Respectfully,

Rook

Rook,

Do you consider yourself to be energy sensitive?

I hope you know what I mean because I hardly know how to describe it. If there are words and terms, I don't know them. I don't mean empathy - picking up someone's feelings and intent and sometimes what they're thinking and whatnot - but the actual energy? Like if someone is doing spell work of any sort, you feel the wash of tingles. If there are any kinds of entities around, you can feel the static where they are. When anyone sends energy at you - be it someone carnate or incarnate - you feel it in a wash of pins and needles. Like the same cold/hot feeling that B and C were reporting in your story, except you're always aware of the energy moving around you in your environment? The same thing as when you have someone hold their hands Palm-to-Palm with yours, but not touching, and you can feel where their edges begin - be it aura or magnetic field, not sure if there's much of a difference.

I ask because I was so surprised when you didn't describe any sort of change in C's energy when the shift in drivers behind the eyes happened. I really wanted to know what that felt like energetically. I was wondering if that's what you referred to when you said you knew in your gut - because there frustratingly isn't terminology to explain what the energy feels like. Yeah, haha, I guess I just assumed you would be energy sensitive for some reason and I just completely ignored that everybody gets different spectrums of talents.

Were you able to feel the shift in the energy when A and B were feeling cold drain out and then heat radiate inward? Did you feel the hot and cold in an area around them or the board as well? Did you feel any other sort of pins-and-needles energy sensation in the surrounding atmosphere when this occurred?

If you don't feel the tingles... I'm just so curious, because that is intrinsic to my experience of any kind of energy work or intuitiveness and generally the world: What does working magic/energy work/ prayer (whatever term you prefer) feel like to you? When someone else is doing the work - like you're getting a psychic reading or you're at Circle or what have you - how are you able to tell that they're legit if not by feeling the tingles?

When you get a spirit communication, or intuitive knowledge, does it come to you with a wash of energy, all pins and needles? If not, how does it feel?

Just so curious. Hope that's not too personal a question, because I really really want to know.

Ladydrake,

There was so much of this that was pure instinct. Oberservation did play a part... Changes in 'C's' voice...posture...body language during that meeting had me worried, then his attitude, vocalizations, resistance... So many things... And yes... My gut... On the night we reversed the energy and closed the board.

As far cutting his statments off and keeping his finger on the Plancheete... That was pure off the cuff good timing on my part... As I realized just how much control his ancestor had I KNEW that I had to stay in control of the situation... If not... Well things would not have ended good.

As far as the 'Who are you?' comment It was something in between the two... Unsure of who I was and questioning my authority at the same time.

Hope that answers your questions... Please ask any others you may have.

Thanks to all who have commeted.

Respectfully,

Rook

Rook,

Thank you for this intriguing series. I really enjoyed reading it and the end certainly didn't disappoint. I've read it over a few times now over a couple of days before commenting because there's a lot to digest.

I've never seen a possession. I admit to being morbidly fascinated.

What I really want to know is how you pegged C for not being C. I know you were already kind of suspicious at the end of Part 2. But when the finale happened, you list a lot of good clues - C's reluctance to participate and insistence that the purging of negative energies was all crap and BS, then his use of "Yahoos" instead of his friend's names. All those clues are logic and psychology.

What I want to know is, what did you feel? Was there an energetic change that you sensed? Did you get that, I don't know what to call it, psychic sense or intuition where you get the rush of tingles and just *know* something? Or was it all logic and psychology, Sherlock style?

At the point that C said, "Who are you?" do you think that the ancestor spirit had come to the forefront to the point that he really did no longer know your name or have C's recollections of dealing with you previously? Or was it more just a way of saying, "What right do you have?"

I was impressed with how prepared you were in that you stepped right in, cut him off, and told him he was going to keep his hand on the planchette. Very much an "I'm Batman" moment.

Very interesting. It's a good thing that you happened upon these young men when you did. Still luckier for them that you were able to undo the mess that they got themselves into. I say they got themselves because they were all a part of C's possession by a long dead relative.
You have helped so many people for a long time. We here at Y.G.S. Thank you for all the sage advice you have given, and for all of your experiences that you have shared.

Thanks for putting the time in to let us know the end - must admit this was a "voyage" that interested me!
Is there any information you can give about how best to dispose of a board? I ask as I have read so many contradictory methods with each one being presented as THE way.
Thanks once again, L

Thank you Rook for sharing this. I would love to have known what happened with A, B and C after this experience but I don't suppose it was meant to be. You did what was necessary and most likely saved their souls. Right time... Right place, I say. 😊
