All My Life I Have Seen Things Out Of The Corner Of My Eye

Before I tell you my story I should tell you that I'm not completely sure if it is a ghost or something that is following me it might be my imagination though I doubt it is. I'm not really sure when this all began. I think all my life I have seen things out of the corner of my eye. But of course I can not be sure as I was young and had a BIG imagination.

The first main time I noticed anything was a night I was laying in my bed and all of a sudden I heard footsteps running behind me. I rolled over and looked around but there was nothing there. I thought nothing of it all the time but then a few weeks later, I was home alone (mum had gone to work) and I was watching TV when I heard my mums door open. (her door creaks very loudly and the floorboards in her room creak very loudly) I assumed it was the wind but then the floor boards started creaking as if some one was trying (and failing) to creep out the room.

I got scared so I did what most teens would probably do: I called myself an idiot then turned the TV up. It was the middle the day at the time. About an hour after this, I saw a shadow dart along the wall. It looked like a head nothing else. I assumed it was a car light going pass the windows and creating a refection but then I remembered what time it was and well what kind of person would have there lights on at that time. Even if they did have their lights on it would make that big of refection. It was mostly little things but what happened next is what bothers me.

It was again at night I was laying in bed and I was just drifting of when I heard a girl's scream right in my ear. It scared the hell got of me! I wasn't sure at the time because I was half asleep when I heard the scream but then the next night the same thing happened again around the same time. Only the scream came from downstairs.

The 3rd and final time was about 2 weeks ago. I was at school. I had stayed behind for IT catch-up and the school seemed deserted. I was sitting down working (the teacher had gone to a meeting) when I heard the exact same scream. I began shaking I was so afraid. Luckily my teacher came in 5 minutes later. Otherwise I would have just left. Once I had done my work I packed up my things and was walking out (I had my ipod on) when I thought I heard some one call my name. I turned slightly and saw a girl running towards me. I was in the road so I turned back got on the path then turned. Only she wasn't there. No one was.

Ever since then I have been worried in case I am being followed and I don't enjoy my own company as this is when these things seem to happen. I really do hope it is my imagination but I highly doubt it.

I have had an experience like this or close. A lot of times I see things out of the corner of my eye and one morning while waiting for the school bus (there is a small hill across our drive) and I saw something white and small crawl down it I tried to tell my mom but she didn't see it. And a lot of times I hear strange sounds

Okay erm... Your all going to think I'm an idiot but I lost my password for this and only just remembered it so that's why I haven't replied to anyone so sorry! I know there are a few mistakes but everyone makes mistakes right? I am not going to talk to my mum about this as she will no longer feel safe in our house and will make us move which is not what I want and if this thing was at my school then it is clearly following me and moving house won't help. I haven't got schizophrenia or anything and everything I have said is true. I am 14 years old and the girl I saw looked about the same age. She was in a school uniform but I didn't recognise it. I have blond, wavey hair that come just below my shoulders and the girl had the same only hers was longer. I don't know if that has any relevence or not to be honest as I don't really know much about ghosts or anything paranomal. One of the theories I have had about this is that maybe it is a girl who died when she was my age and is trying to live her life though me? It might sound dumb but that's all I got. Thank you for all the help and suggestions but I was hoping for people to just tell what it is because I know that I won't be scared if I can just understand what on earth is going on. 😳

Also, I am not sure if they updated it since but they had a feature on there that was enabled by default where it posted a link to AVG's website whenever you commented on Facebook. It was extremely annoying and I nearly got rid of the program for it until I realized it was a feature you could easily turn off from the settings. Annoying and a bit of a dirty marketing tactic, but I would rather sacrifice a few clicks to turn off a setting than have my computer get a virus or my email get hacked.

Devious - bless your heart, where were you months ago? πŸ˜† I'm going to start using that because who knows? Better to be safe than sorry, right?

And that b-word? LMAO, I believe I fall into that category myself sometimes πŸ˜‰ Even when I try to stay out of it, I find myself slipping and sliding and there I am again. That evil side just takes over πŸ˜†

To everyone on YGS that has gotten hacked, likely because of some of the less savory, sad, bored individuals who really need to get lives:

Sorry if this sounds like spamming but you guys should really get an antivirus that scans your email. You can get AVG Free edition, no cost to you for updates to definitions or anything like that and it automatically scans your email even from within internet-based clients like Gmail and Yahoo. It literally scans every message before it opens any attachments and instantly notifies you, also blocking the attachment unless you authorize download if it looks like a virus. That is what I use and of all people you would think I would be one of the first to get hacked because I am such a b-word πŸ˜‰

Nah, Devious - I removed my email address from my profile months ago after I got hacked. Then I changed my email address and password. Once bitten, twice shy and all that Great White stuff LOL.

But if she'd been nice enough...πŸ˜‰

PandaBear, you know that you can log into your account from other people's computers, right? Surely you are not THAT much of a PC noob... And when you post in a public forum, there is no debate that is just between you and one other person. It is between you and everyone that reads the comments, so people will probably get involved whether you want them to or not. If you had an issue with Miracles you probably could have contacted her directly.

Good to know, about the double-accounts though. I had my suspicions. Now I know which two accounts to ignore. 😊

Again I apologize to firecracker. I will also not make any rude comments about her or anyone else's story. I am very very sorry I didn't mean to start any of this, I am very sorry. Thanks ❀ ❀ ❀

I apologize to firecracker if I said anything offensive, and to answer zzsgrannys questions, I was at my cousins house on their computer and my account was on my computer so if I wanted to comment I had to make another one, geddit? And by the way SHE did post on this story. Can we now get one with our lives? Everyone has one of those days, I guess mine was then and if you read my other comments there is nothing there that is rude or offensive, I have apologized and I would love to move on and continue to read the other stories. Also this "this debate" was between me and miracles. Thanks. ❀ ❀ ❀

Firecracker - again I owe you an apology. I won't be directing any additional comments to PandaBear/YoshiGirl or any new name she may come up with. I sincerely apologize for my part in this.

PandaBear/YoshiGirl - Just to make sure I wasn't taking credit for something that wasn't mine to take credit for, I checked Firecracker's profile and the only comment Firecracker made wasn't cheeky and wasn't directed to you.

So I'm going to take full responsibility for the "cheeky" comment since Firecracker didn't make it. I did. You were being rude. Regardless that you posted the comment on the wrong story, you were still being rude.

You might be a nice person, but that comment didn't show that trait.

By the way, I'm a she, not a he.

hi I'm also yoshigirl, I'd kind of like it if people would stop posting stuff about me, I said I was sorry and that that comment was meant for another story not yours, I found this one interesting. I would like to explain that firecracker was the one who was cheeky to me in the first place and also said he meant to be cheeky so it is not fair to blame me for everything. I would like to also mention that other people have been blaming me, you don't know me I am a very nice person and I guess you are too, but stop having conversations about me please, you do not know me at all. Thank you for reading 😒 😒 😒

Hi firecracker, I'm sorry that you have to face these frightening experiences all alone by yourself. Have you ever thought of it that it could help to discuss what's happening to you with your parents? You've said that you had a BIG imagination when you were younger, well I think most children have big imaginations because it is part of growing up I suppose. You don't mention your age, but it seems like you are in high school. Why I say that is because it seems to me that you are sensitive to the paranormal, but confused of what's happening to you lately.

What you experienced in your house sounds like something that wants attention, and it knows that you are aware of it. I experienced the same thing once in my house-footsteps on the wooden floor coming into my room. It pinned me down and stroked my hair and spoke in the voice of my father who was still alive. It said:"I'm your father don't be afraid" I started to pray, because I realised it was a liar. It left. You might be dealing with a ghost, but you say you are not sure. I suggest you to talk to your parents, because they are the closest to you. Sometimes parents don't mention things like this, because there is no reason to frighten your own children. Ask them if they experience any strange feelings in the house, and especially their room from where you heard all that noise.

There are a medical condition where patients do hear voices and stuff, but it must be proven by a doctor after some tests is run. Assumption is the mother of all bugger ups that is why I suggest that you talk to your parents about this. Take care. Trix.

geetha,
I know how it is. Been there, done that, so they say. It was that her comment to explain what happened had been voted out of existence also, and that looked a bit odd to me. I just wanted to bring that point to the forefront as that was what was so puzzling. It was obviously read. But it was voted down nonetheless. I guess it was a question of fairness and a chance to make it right that was eating at me.

Javelina,
That's true what you said and I think many of the posters (myself included) could have been nicer but what was said after the initial comments that put us off. I guess it was one of those days to vent out on somebody.

I was not going to bother with this little jump on the troll session until I went back and read all the comments, which include the "hidden" ones. Now, yoshigirl left a very nice, polite, and insightful comment when she read this story. Then she accidentally left a second comment that was "offputting", to say the least. But immediately returned to apologize and explain that it wasn't meant for this story. And she moved on.
What happened next was strange, if only for the domino effect it started. It would be nice if some of you re-examined this just for the learning opportunity it offers.

Jav

Just because a comment has been voted down and hidden is no reason not to read it. It might surprise you what others deem unworthy of reading, you just don't know until you try.

I love coming on this site because of people like Miracles, DeviousAngel, and Louslips. Always keeping me awake at work!

Yoshigirl,
Respect is a two way street. If you want respect, give some respect first. If that respect is not returned then you have the right to talk but until then I suggest that you watch what you say to other people. Plus, if you have better things to do, then why the hell did you join? Also, just a side note: the person who you said "...you who ever the hell you are", her name is miracles and she is a respected member of this forum and who is more experienced then you and me and in more of a position to give advise than you. She was pointing out your mistakes and yes, she was being cheeky about it because you were pointing out someone else's mistakes while making those same mistakes.

Firecracker,
First of all sorry for the ramblings above. As for your situation. I'm not 100% sure on what to do but some good suggestion were made and more will come. From me, I suggest you talk to your mother and see what she says. If she doesn't believe you, then you could take steps to (1) protect yourself from anything bad hurting you, and (2) finding out what the problem is and who this girl is. I think a spirit might have attached itself to you.

You can do things like burning sage and incense. Another thing to do is put salt around any entry ways like doors and windows. The other thing I suggest would be to create a positive energy around. Go out with friends, occupy yourself by going to your local community center. Also, something you can try is to sit in your home and mediate white light around yourself and then push this light to every corner of your house. Hope that is helpful and also try some of the things suggested by the other posters.

Hi Firecracker:

The comment you made about "seeing things out of the corner of my eye" reminds me of me when I was your age... Teenage (not sure but you state that you are in school). I have seen things out of the corner of my eyes for many years starting when I was a teen. I also see "shadow people". This is almost a daily experience for me and I am quite used to it now. I get the feeling that you may feel as if you are imagining this. I wouldn't be so sure. A lot of what you state rings true to me, and I don't imagine this and I am not "crazy". Shadow people are harmless. What you are experiencing seems quite harmless. Certain people are given a special set of eyes to be able to see and witness things that other people can't. Embrace it but do not let it rule your life.

Good luck, Zeta.

DA,
No perv here. This is for the sake of Art.

Art's my publicist...he's kinda' weird, so he may dig the twilight zone twist... The "sister" thing is a limited audience, though.

Moving on,

Devious - LMAO, couldn't have said it better myself! πŸ˜† Truthfully? What I was sitting there thinking was what we were saying was a whole helluva lot better than the griping (insert your favorite word) that's been going on recently.

Me? I'd much rather tell you I'll keep you the way you are, thank you very much πŸ˜† And mean it when I say it LOL.
