Vivid Dreaming?

I am 17 almost 18, I live in Quebec and always have been very openned with the paranormal. I have had many experiences ever since I was a small child, so I know by now the difference between my imagination and what is really hapenning. I've learned to make the difference. I'll be posting most of my experiences in the near future but for now I want to post my most confusing one yet.

My whole life I've only had vivid dreams. While dreaming I could never tell. When I wake up I am still confused on weither I dreamt or not. So these experiences that I'm about to describe to you are very confusing for me because they feel even more real then my previous dreams or nightmares. My story is long, I know, but please read it, I need guidance.

The first one I could remember of is when I was about 8 years old. We lived in a big house that was separated by 3 apartments. It was a house that once belonged to the judge of my small city called Drummondville, back in early 1900. To come into the house you had to go in from the door that was in my room. Every single night my mother would lock that door, no exeptions. One night I dreamt that my bed was located in the kitchen for an odd reason and that my cat, that I still own now, was somewhat evil. All I felt was pure fear. I was afraid of the cat I always knew. I was sure she would hurt me. So I stayed under the covers for hours, awake, feeling her crawl up the bed, until she reached my torso and sat on me. I felt like she was staring at me through the covers. After a while I felt like I was suffocating so I had the guts to come out of my covers only to find that my bed was back in it's natural spot; in my room. So I sat wide awake in my bed.

I wasn't scared of my cat anymore and she was nowhere to be found. I looked outside and saw that there was a huge storm with lightning and crazy wind. On top of all the big noises the storm outside would make, I heard what sounded like someone falling down the stairs outside my door. It stopped. But then I heard the meow of a hurt cat and immediately jumped out of my bed to the door to make sure my cat wasn't hurt. I distincly remember unlocking the door and it openned with a big gust of wind. I don't remember feeling the cold. But I remember feeling the rain whipping my skin and the wind blowing my hair.

I looked down the stairs and saw my cat lying down on one of the steps. I tried calling out her name but no sound was coming out of my mouth. But its as if she heard me because she got up and started limping up the stairs. I remember feeling relieved that my cat was alright but I started looking around because I felt observed. I saw what I thought was a gray shadow hiding behind a tree outside. I looked around to see if their was anyone, but all I felt was as if there was many shadows surounding the house, staring. I ignored it and went inside with my cat and rushed to bed. I know some of you may say it was just a dream but I woke up to my clothes, bed and hair being damp from the rain. The door was unlocked and my cat seemed in bad shape the next morning.

That was the first experience I could remember of with my vivid dreaming. The second one wasn't that long ago. Its important to note that its not in the same house as the previous story. It was a normal night, I went to bed and fell asleep. I remember waking up with my feet on the pillows and my head laying where my feet should be. The part that alerted me was that I was seeing myself from a bird's eye view. Like I was looking at my self from the ceiling. My light was open, and I never sleep with the lights opened. I looked to my left and saw my mom entering my room with a jar in her hands. It looked like an ancient greek vase and she threw it at the wall. The vase broke and a bunch of spiders came out of it. This wasn't a nightmare, I didn't feel any fear, I was just staring at the spiders. My mom seemed angry and she just left. I fell asleep again and woke up in the same position, with my feet on the pillows. It scared me.

The third one is pretty recent, I would say about almost a year ago. For almost 2 years aparitions of the same young man have been appearing. I'll make some other posts telling you about him because I have no idea what he is or who he is. But he has been present in broad day light. But he was also part of my dreams. One night, it was a full moon. I remember because every full moon, it casts a light that enters my room and makes a blue light. It is very conforting and I fell asleep with no troubles.

I woke up to someone calling my name, at first I thought it was my mother, back from work, coming to say goodnight. But the more I woke up, the more it sounded like a man. So I looked at the end of my bed to notice the man I have talked about earlier. He was sitting at the edge of my bed and he seemed peaceful and calm. He told me to come closer. I remember crawling towards him and leaning my head on his thighs. He was petting my hair and I felt so secure. I was in a fetal position and fell fast asleep. I woke up at the edge of my bed in the same position. It creeped me out.

I've had a few experiences like these. But these ones are the main ones. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? Someone once told me that it might be astral traveling or that I'm just having a few nocturnal visitors. But It might just all be dreams. I'm very confused.

Yes the man is tall, pale, has shoulder lenght black hair, very messy, dark blue or gray eyes, skinny and seems like hes dressed like he is from the 1800's, he looks very unhappy too.

And yes my cat is fine 😊 But when I seem to feel like something is around she seems to feel it too!

That is really very interesting. A lot sounds like astral travel to me as well.
What did the man look like? It's very fortunate that he was a good energy.
Is your kitty doing well these days?

Your dreams share some qualities with astral travel, but I think there is more going on than that. My advice would be to find a psychoanalyst to help you analyze your dreams. Psychoanalysts are not for "crazy" people (some people think everyone in the field are doctors for mental illness) but for helping you find meaning in subconscious messages. Many are surprisingly open to the paranormal & might be able to help you determine if there is an astral travel component to your dreams too. If you need help finding one your guidance counselor (if you are in high school) can be a good start. I would also note that if you are aware of a spirit in your home it completely makes sense he would be in your dreams to. Lastly, you might benefit from posting this on the "sister site" for psychic experiences too.
