The Quarantine Station Tour

Last night, I went on a quarantine station tour. It opened in 1830. Our tour guide said it's unlikely that we would have an experience with a ghost there, but I DID! I had a few.

We were heading to the quarantine stations hospital to go have a look inside. As we were looking inside, I felt a large, painful prick in my leg. It almost stopped me from walking. I asked the guide what it was and he said that it was a needle.

My next experience was when we were down where the ships used to dock. I was listening to the tour guide when something tapped me. I turned around... No one was there. The tapping started straight away after I turned around. It was pretty fast tapping. Like some one wanted me. That freaked me out!

My third one was when our guide was talking about a ghost Chinese man seen on rare occasions. No one saw him that night, but I did... That was a secret I didn't tell anyone that night. He had a coolie on top and he was wearing one of those Chinese gowns. He had a black pony tail hanging over his shoulder. I almost cried when he pointed to me and then disappeared. I didn't want to tell anyone because I was worried he would haunt me.

My last experience was when we were in the old shower room. I heard a shower turn on. I was wondering why no one else was alarmed. And I knew it wasn't my head, because after I heard the shower turn on, the tour guide said that once the showers turned on when they were not connected.

That made me TOTALLY believe in ghosts. Now, I hope that my house isn't haunted!

Your house will not be haunted. Those ghosts will stay in that hospital, not pay you a visit. I'm not sure why a tour guide said you wouldn't have any ghost experiences. Being quarantined is one of the worst places to be. Especially if that's the place you die. Being alone isn't fun. Don't worry! When you go places like that, ghosts should be expected! 😊

Hi Casscass
Iv been on that tour before a few years ago its a very creep place I can remember the hospital and old shower room been the most creepy of the tour. I can also remember the tour guide saying something about people often filling taps on there shoulders and she something about it been a ghost of one of the cooks there.

Wow, amazing story. I've never been on a ghost tour before, if ever I'm in Sydney I might look that one up.

The ghosts will not follow you home and you must have had some connection to that place in your past life

Dear Casscass,

Thanks for your story. It may have been more helpful to us ghost busting and investigating readers like myself to know more about the whereabouts of the said quarantine station tour, as some of us may want to also take the tour.

You seem to be quite sensitive to ghosts which I would think would have made the tour even more enjoyable for you, since the tour by your account seemed to be about the paranormal happenings at the station and not just about the history.

I would think that if you were so sensitive on this tour of the station, you would have already known if you had ghosts in your house or not. I truly doubt they would follow you home from the station. They are just dead, stuck people who are stuck to that station. Besides, most humans dead or alive are always at home and stuck in their own day to day rut of being comfortable in their same surroundings. As you and all readers know the unknown and unfamiliar make humans, dead or alive very uncomfortable. Thus, those ghosts would be uncomfortable going home with you, as you would be going home with them to the station. Home is where the comfort is or in this case, home is where the station is.--Abby

Most times ghost will not follow an individual from a place it is familiar with. That would be like you following a stranger home and then trying to make yourself comfortable. I don't believe you have a thing to worry about. Just follow what your heart tells you and you won't go wrong.

Peace, Love, and Luck be with you.
