Those Nights At Boarding School

Hey all this is my first story, I am sorry if my spelling is a bit off at some points. I went to boarding school in Denmark in the year of 05 to 07, in a small town outside of Ringkøbing, the town is called Velling, and the boarding school is called Fjordvang Ungdomsskole (translated - Fjordvang youth school). We had different kinds of what we called hauntings; you know the typical stories trying to scare you. Some were just hoax, and some I (un) luckily experienced myself. We had 7 places to sleep I'll name them all and a lot of different rooms which I will get into, those that were haunted.

Green house (was lying up a forest border)

Blue house (was lying up a forest border)

Red house (was lying up a forest border)

White hallway (under Baby hallway)

Yellow hallway (underneath the sewing room)

Baby hallway (because it was pink)

And two separate rooms above a class room.

Green house.

There was nothing here, and nothing really that exciting in the forest, except that sometimes there were shadows outside the windows of 1 room, that being said, there is 3 rooms on that side of the house. (Only what have I heard)

Blue house.

The story goes that some time ago a student/electrician hung himself in that room. Well that might be true or not. But one weekend I decided to sleep in that room alone, it was not that scary at all. Except that sometimes the light would turn on and off without any warning, it was an ordinary light bulb and they changed it and changed it over and over. No improvement, well I stayed the night and there were weird noises coming from the bulb all night nothing else in this house. (Experienced and heard.)

Red house.

There was nothing inside the house, except from one window you could see up to one of the class rooms, and up there you could see a shadowy figure walking through the room in the middle of the night. There were only a scarce light from emergency signs that lit up the room. (Only what I have heard, haven't experienced this myself)

White hallway.

This hallway had nothing. Unfortunately

Yellow hallway.

Was as I said beneath the sewing room, where the sewing machines would sometimes start up by themselves. The room was always locked and no way in or out besides that door. It would start slowly, one sewing machine would start slowly, then speed up and then all of the sudden all of them were up and running. And it would just stop abruptly. Every room in the yellow hallway could hear this. (Experienced)

Pink hallway

This was my first encounter with ghosts/hauntings at this school. I lived in room 11, which was the second last room in that hallway. So I had a pretty good view of the whole hallway from there. One night I woke up around 2 am, and heard laughter outside my door, thinking that some of my fellow students were playing pranks I decided to open the door and see what they were doing. There was nothing... But I could still hear a faint giggling, like a child covering its mouth and trying to hold the laughter back. I closed the door and thinking that it was only a dream, and lay back in my bed. Then all of the sudden it knocked on my door, and I jumped up and looked out into the hallway, then again nothing. This time I wanted to catch them, so I stood by the door waiting for something to happen, and when it knocked on the door I quickly opened it, and there was nothing. But I heard the sound of running footsteps and children laughing like they were running back down the hallway to the other end down the stairs to white hallway. I told no one thinking I was just halfway dreaming it, and went back to sleep, it happened again a couple of weeks later, the day after that, I told one of the senior students, who had also lived in that room, if he ever heard something or experienced anything weird. He told me that exact same story about the laughter, giggling and running footsteps. A week later, the children were back and I asked them if they would leave me alone for that night because I was really tired, and they did and never came back to me, I think I might have offended them.

The separate rooms.

Is right next to each other, and in one room there was the sound of a ball or something similar being thrown at the room in the middle of the night, the person in there woke up and was mad at his neighbour as he couldn't get back to sleep, since it kept on making that noise, and he went over to knock on his door, just as he reached the neighbours door, it opened slowly and it was empty, up the stairs came his neighbour who had just been to the bathroom.

The last room.

This room was/is ALWAYS locked, it is a small room, one time we convinced a teacher to unlock the door, so we could look inside, and I as the first person since everyone else was scared, me two considering the rest of the school, even the teacher thought this room was haunted and badly so, therefore it was always locked. But I peered in it was very small, and dark there was only one window in the middle of the back of the room. Picture yourself a small room 2 by 3 meters, and the back wall has a very small window. As I looked around I saw what appeared to be a girl sitting in the corner, and as my eyes adjusted to the dark, I could see her completely, she was sitting down with her knees pressed against her chest and her head on her knees. So I couldn't see her face. She then looked up, and where her eyes should have been there was only nothing, only wide open holes, with some liquid sliding down her cheek, I took me only a few seconds to see all this. I fell backwards out the room, as if I had been pushed and landed on my back with sharp pain going through my whole chest area. The ones who looked in after I had been pushed to the ground saw nothing, only a small room.

Later that night the pain was still there and sometimes it comes back, it feels like a stabbing pain right through my heart and out my back, no doctor or hospital has found anything, but when I get the pain, I fall over, gasps for air, arches my back and bends forward my whole body is in spasms and my legs, are trying to push me up or down. On whatever surface I am on and I can feel something else and a very faint voice, something that is not me, whatever it is it feels like it is trying to do something to me. After that night, I have also been experiencing black silhouettes/shadows following me around, and sometimes I catch them out of the side of my eye and look directly at them they vanish quickly before I see them.

It has been happening more lately. So people of this great site, can you help me with some of your knowledge?

I really want to know what your thoughts or knowledge leads to.

I'm kind of curious. I can see you'r from Denmark. (I am from Denmark aswell)

What is the name of the school? I am looking for a thrill, and something that can (maybe) make some of my friends believe in "supernatural" stuff. At the time they kind of make fun of me all the time because of my beliefs.:)

- And don't worry. I'm not the type that's mocking any spirits or ghosts. I have a deeply respect for supernatural creatures.

when I was younger and me and my parents moved houes and I experienced shadow figures in the corner of ym eyes which, when I looked properly, would disappear. It would then lead to the stairs making nosies at night as well as the radiators and my cd player turning on when it was switched off by the main plug. So I understand you with the shadow figures.

Wow... Something like this happened to me too, after I think to have experienced a haunting in my (rented) house in Indonesia. It used to be a church where a pastor hung himself. I was in my room, I heard noises, I sat up on my bed, the noises stopped and all of a sudden I had this aching feeling on the left side of my chest which hurt a lot. I occasionally still get this.

Hi, um, with my exsperience with hauntings and possesions ever since I was 7, I would say you're possesed. Do you go to church? If yes or no, the preist will still help you. Start praying, and if your addicted to something, get some help to stop. After you go to your preist, you ask him to detirmin if demons are possessing you or not. Are you baptised? If not, ask your preist to baptize you. I hoped this advice helped.

If I were you, the very first thing I would try is to find someone who is very experienced with energy work to work on me, particularly on my heart chakra. I had something similar happen to me, but I didn't get it from a ghost. I got it when I was hanging around a cardiac ICU for ten days looking after my Dad. I tend to be an energy sponge. Anyway, when my Dad recovered I went to a friend of mine in desperate need of help because I was having horrible chest pain, was panicky, and I felt like I couldn't breathe. He did "crystal surgery" on me, which I had never had before and was skeptical of, but it felt so amazing and it was gone in about five minutes. I could feel all the negative energy around my heart and chest uncoiling and lifting right up out of me. There are lots of types of energy work, and there are many people out there are who are very good at it... And some that aren't. Stay away from the ones with egos. Lol Anyway, that's what I would try! Hopefully this will get rid of that girl's hold on you!

Well, there are other practices you can use to cleanse yourself. The most important is focusing on the shielding aspect of it. Trying out simple, beginning yoga may help to stretch your muscles out and alleviate some of that pain, even if it sounds a little silly (I have had back pain all my life and yoga REALLY helps). Also, doing something relaxing like yoga helps you to focus and meditate, which improves your mental "muscle" as it were. If you can have access to it, I have heard jasmine (or white jasmine) helps cleanse the spirit through aromatherapy. If you can get jasmine essential oil, potpourri or incense, that could help too. Try to relax yourself and envision the pains you feel leaving your body in the form of a dark mist, and each inhale is clean, white light. Do this as a breathing exercise if you start to feel the pains return and I can almost guarantee it should help. I personally have frequent muscle spasms that can get very painful, and this exercise helps me.

it was in 2005 to 2007, after those two years in went on exchange to thailand. 😁
But besides that no one really knew anything about that room what it was used for before.

you must've disturbed the girl in the small room or your precence riled her. Are you still on the same dormitory? Can you ask someone about the history of room?

well that whole using salt on my body, is not something I really want to do, since I am already suffering from ichtyosis bullosa, and my skin is extremly dry on most of my body, and I don't really have a bathtub or something simular. So that is a hard one to do, but do you know any other ways devious?
And the pains, they have become a bit more frequent, and longer lasting, up to 5-10 minutes or so. It really creeps my girlfriend out when I have them, I haven't told her about the little girl or anything, since she easily gets scared of ghosts and similar things. And I don't want to scare her more then when I have my fits.
But my pains I think they originated from the girl, when I felt her push me out of the room.

Thank you for sharing your story. It must have been really scary to be in a place like that, partly because of the urban legends you hear, which are enough to creep you out as it is, plus the things you experienced first-hand. The ball bouncing and children's laughter sounds like residual spiritual energy from past events. The sewing machines and knocking on your door sound like a possible poltergeist. Do you know if anyone died at that boarding house?

When you described the little girl in the room, I suddenly felt a heavy sadness for her. Could you possibly do any research on the students there, and find out if there were any girls who attended who were blind or had any accidents having to do with eyesight loss? It sounds to me like something happened to that girl in that room. I just get the feeling that she's scared and lost.

Also, as for the pains you're feeling...I'm not sure what it could be, but have you tried cleansing yourself? Try taking a bath in sea salt and jasmine (you may need to lotion up afterwards because the salt may dry your skin out a little) and envision a white, healing light encircling your whole body.

I hope this helps!
