Weird Living Room

First of all I am ten. This encounter happened a few months ago. We were having a no tech week so we couldn't watch tv. We had the lego down stairs and my dad picked me up from school and was now having a nap. It was raining outside and my friend knocked on the door and asked if she could stay here because she had lost her key.

We sat in the living room and started playing with the lego. I didn't have the lights on, so it was a bit dark. She started talking about ghosts and we had a long conversation about ghosts and how her history teacher is haunted. My foot became numb and I had a shiver down my spine. Then the glass door leading to the living room began to open. I shut it, it opened again. I did this a number of times and I shut the door properly, but it still opened.

Every time I opened the door I felt a icy hand grab my shoulder and send shivers down my spine. I turned on the lights and everything stopped. Then my brother arrived from school. We carried on talking about ghosts. A power cut that lasted 20 seconds. No more happened that day.

But throughout the following months I have had similar experiences, such as shivers and the door. I am now at my friend's house and when I walked pass her sister's room, I saw a black ghostly figure. Also when someone taps me on the back and they say "did you feel that?", next they don't touch me and they say "did you feel that" and I can feel a number of taps on my back so I say "yes" and they break the news to me but I still did feel something.

PLEASE HELP ME!

Pray, Pray, Pray. It seems to always work for me.
other than that, I wouldn't worry to much as the entities are simply making their presence known to you, there doesn't appear to be any hostility with the encounters.
Kep a Bible in your room.

God Bless!

Ash, you really have experienced a true paranormal encounter! Have you ever told your parents? (I'm twelve just to let you know.) I learned that most adults don't understand kids. I know my parents would never believe my ghost stories, so I plan to never tell them. But if you really are scared, and need some comfort in your life, talk to us here on the site. I know that many people here love giving advice to you. But if you ever feel like telling your parents, go ahead. Most of all, you should pray! God can really help us all. Remember that.

Well, good luck! I know my advice didn't really do much... Oh well! But never give up, Ash. Have hope and faith in your heart. 😊

Seems like you have been given a lot of advice so far. I say. If it hurts you tell your parents and they can help you out. But for now, you are safe. The thing is just playing with your mind. Teasing you. Don't be afraid. God bless.

Ceary 😁

Ash, don't be scared. You're still young, so don't let these things worry you. The experiences you describe show no signs of nastiness or hate. Don't dwell on these things too much, as you get older you can start to explore this strange paranormal world more. But for now, just enjoy being young. At your age everything should be scarey, I'm 24 and I still get freaked out by most things.
Ghosts can't hurt you, so when you read some of the comments on this site for other stories, don't always take everything everyone says to heart. We all have our own opinions, so hopefully at least one of us can put your mind at rest. Although Athena seems to have done a good job already!

Hi Ash! How are you? I started thinking about your prediciment. What if you don't have anyone in your life who you feel comfortable with or confident in? If you live in a larger town or city, you can go to your clergy, just call on the phone and ask for an appointment to talk to someone about a personal issue, and because transportation maybe an issue you can ask for an over the phone appointment. It is free of course to call. Sometimes it will be clergy and sometimes not, either way you will find a person who wants to help you. If that's not comfortable you can always call a different religous order and talk to them. Here's some usually very helpful religions that don't have exclusive precepts regarding ghosts; Secular Jewish, Roman Catholic, Buddhist and Episcopalian and many others. If you every just feel scared and alone, you can call your local crises line. They talk to anyone who is in crises, and I think it is fairly anonymous. The main thing is the world has many people who can help you and be there for you. I hope that you are taking really good care of yourself while you are going through this! Drink lots of water, eat something you enjoy and do things that help you feel comfortable and safe. If you were raised Christian talk to God and not to the spirits. Ask his Angels to protect and guide you. And remind yourself that you are the most powerful one. Ghosts want to be around the living because we are very powerful. Ash, you are in charge and can keep yourself in a protected space. You are looked after by Angels! Take Good Care, Athena ❤

O'Ash, I bet you were scared! Here's the thing- I think that ghosts come to us when we make ourselves available to them. Talking about them is sending them a gold lettered invitation to communicate with us. Unfortantly, experincing ghosts can be overwhelming even people who are thrice your age would be scared, but the older you get the more you can protect yourself. SOOO, can you talk to an older mature person about what you experinced and felt? Also, it is important to begin the conversation correctly with the person you intend to talk to about your experince. Most adults will tell you that it was your imagination because they are trying to sooth your fears, but that will not help you because you are convinced of the facts. Maybe, you could directly ask the person/people you look to for help in this way. "I went through something and it scared me. I am not sure what you can do to help, but I think just listening to me would be good..." How does that sound Ash?
