Ouija Board and the Doll

Me and 4 of my friends skipped school one day and went to my friend's house. We were kind of bored, so we decided to pull out the Ouija board. I had never played with one before. We went in my friend's room, and he has a blanket over his window so we thought it would be dark enough.

We started playing it and asking it questions. Once we got familiar with it we asked it do something to let us know it was in the room. It said it no and we asked why. It said, "because the light..." so we went into his storage closet and I found this crazy clown doll. We turned off the lights and tried again. I put the doll on his heater. His storage closet didn't have any windows so it was way dark. This time we got a different spirit and asked it some questions, like how it died and how old it was when it died and what its name was and stuff like that. We put the clown on top of his heater, and asked the spirit to move the clown doll to prove it was really there. He said he would, and we all listened as hard as we could to see if it did. We didn't hear anything and it was too dark to tell, so we just kept playing it like usual.

When we turned on the lights the doll was sitting right next to me. Crazy huh?

I hate it when people write up a story on this site and they never make the time to come back and reply to the people that took their time to read the story and ask the writter about his or her story, only to never get an answer.

I mean this person hasn't come back on here and the story was written back on the Date of: 2007-10-25... What happened to this person did they die? Did they loose the name of the site?
Did their computer blow-up from a lighting storm? Did her or she get so poor they couldn't pay for the server? I mean what happened to this person?

Take care,

Walter 😨

Oh I was born terrified of spiders, like really I can't move when I see one or I spazz out like an epileptic (no offense I have non-epileptic seizures, so don't trip.) But I must admit that Pennywise was the ONE that freaked me out when I was young. I love Stephen King. Yes I'm a pastor & a horror flick buff! I have a poster of Pennywise. And I've been a Juggalo since I was 14 years old, long time. Wouldn't make sense if I didn't like clowns. I have to adit that I'm a clown my self πŸ˜† ❀

I love clowns. Wicked clowns. WHOOP WHOOP!
I don't know why clowns scare folks. 'Specially clown dolls. It seems a little funny to me. I love it though.

I'm a big believer, but have you thought maybe your friends moved the doll?

"Hi, I'm Chucky... Wanna play?" LOL

It seems that the consensus is that you shouldn't play with an ouija board. I am intrigued that there is such power and poential to communicate with the dead in this way but that could be considered necromancy. To me, playing with something you don't understand could be like giving a toddler a gun and saying 'have fun'.

I mentioned in my story that an ouija board was present when I had my shadow-person encounter and stated I hadn't tried it 'properly', however I had tried it out by myself on several occasions and even took it to the cemetery. I was frustrated that nothing happened. If I recall, it was either ripped into many pieces (being cardboard) or burnt.

I suggsest DON'T DO IT, there are plenty of other ways to have fun.

Wow that's really creepy. I've never played Ouija before but I've been told that you should never ask it to do something outside the board or it can get the spirit out of the board and free to do anything it wants. Is that true? Anyways, nice story you have there. 😜

Interesting, well I'm glad nothing came of that situation that could of been potentially "threatening". But it's not a good idea to use that board if you are inexperienced with the paranormal. However, the spirit must of took some sort of liking to you from reading your story πŸ˜‰ Anyway, I hope you take care and stay safe.

That is pretty creepy.

Just never use an ouija board again!
I was thinking about using one AGAIN, but I decided not to, since I think that now there is ANOTHER ghost in our house.

Just seriously, never use it again.
Surprisingly, I got lucky and the spirit is in our house, but doesn't bother me.

Take care and be safe! 😁

Okay, if you do use a board again, don't ask for physical signs. That gives any demon attracted by the board a PHYSICAL gateway to our world. Whatever you summoned using that board is probably still hanging aroundYes, I know firsthand that Ouija boards can create movie-ish effects, so I'm not completely doubtful, but I would like more detail...

i heard once that dolls were originally used in magics to trap spirits inside them. Like the golems.
in some cultures, inanimate things like dolls even develop their own souls after a hundred years of existence. I don't think asking it to move a doll was a grand idea.

Some users believe that paranormal or supernatural forces are at work in spelling out Ouija board answers. Skeptics believe that those using the board either consciously or unconsciously move the pointer to what is selected. To prove this, simply try it blindfolded for some time, having an innocent bystander take notes on what words or letters are selected. Usually, the results will be unintelligible.

The movement of the planchette is not due to spirits but to unconscious movements by those controlling the pointer. The same kind of unconscious movement is at work in such things as dowsing and facilitated communication.

Why can't you burn a ouija board? Oh and to Tmetsfan31, they were probably able to see the ouija board thing moving because it was closer and they probably leaning in to see it. So someone please and answer my question!

May God protect you!

OK. I HIGHLY suggest NEVER messing with a ouija board again. You were lucky... You caught a ood spirit. But even good spirit's can go bad. Next time you could poissbily catch a evil intety or a DEMON. If that DOES happen. NEVER EVER EVVEEEEER burn a Ouija board! No matter what!

Always kiss the Ouija Board when you start to play it, and ALWAYS kiss it when you are done, don't just leave it, kissing it keeps the spirits in not roaming around with you.
Take care,
Chrono 😳

yeah it sounds a bit dodgy to be honsest!I've heard about ouiji boards and seen them in movies but I've never actually seen one for sale or anything, guess it was popular decades ago when it wasn't known of it's dangers. Hope I never see one and if I did, even though I'm not exactly sure about the existance of spirits, I would never ever touch it. Why would anyone want to draw something like that on themselves, makes no sense! Better safe than sorry!

I too am a little sceptical, and I am not one to down other peoples stories since mine seem a little crazy as well. If you did in fact happen to see the Ouija board moving and see the small letters, how did you NOT see the clown move? If your story is true, my advice is this. DON'T EVER USE A OUIJA BOARD! They can let in demons and it never turns out as you want. If you absolutely MUST do it agian, then make sure you have a qualified Medium/Psychic with you whom can channel it.
God be with you,

I hear bad things can happen when people play that game (and somehow my sister and I got one when we were like 6 and 8! I never knew what it really was so I never played with it). You were lucky that these spirits seemed to be friendly, since they didn't hurt you or your friends. If you ever play with those boards, be careful who you want to talk to and where you're playing the game. It's too risky.

I wonder too, Pistol Pete, was this a self illuminating Ouija board? No candles, no crack of light from the blanketed window, dark utility closet. Do you see where we are coming from? Did this spirit SPEAK to you?

I'd like very much to know two things:
1) What was crazy about this clown doll?
2) How could you see in the closet? It was evidently too dark to see the doll move, but light enough to see the board?

Crazy. Huh. Indeed.

In the future, when if/when you feel like playing with a Ouija board, just don't. It's always bad news.

Thanks for sharing!

JPing asked a very important question. I will reserve my response until it is answered. Other than to say, don't play with a ouija board.

Peace, Love, and Luck be with you.

Like Miiish said (And pretty much everyone else on this webside), Ouija boards are bad news! You never know what could happen or who you could communicate with.

Pistol Ouija boards are bad news. Knowingly or otherwise it opens the portal to another world attracting not just the good, but the bad too. Nasty things can happen from here on. I suggest that you read accounts of people here who have been with Ouija boards before, it is simply not plesant. Please for the sake of your sanity and peace, do not mess around with these boards and beings who are not of here. Wishing you luck and hoping that nothing happens.
Cheers !
