Silly Faces From The Other Side

This is my first time sharing. Hope you guys enjoy.

It was March 2009, two weeks after my father had passed away from from a chronic illness. My children were two and three at the time and I was putting them down for a nap when they just starting laughing and giggling. Well I was trying to settle them down but they just continued to laugh so much there was no way I was getting them down for a nap so I just started laughing along with them. Figured if I couldn't beat them, join them. Well, that's when my two year old said, "You see him too, Mommy?" I asked, "See who, Baby?" That's when they both answered, "Paw Paw. He's right there floating on the ceiling making silly faces at us". I looked and saw nothing, but at that moment I had the most amazing feeling of warmth and love I have ever felt. My father always made silly faces at my boys to make them laugh. It was nice to know he was still around making people laugh.

Later that day I was in the kitchen cooking dinner and my boys were in the living room playing with their toys. A few minutes later I saw my son grabbing a juice box out the fridge. Okay, no big deal but then he continued passed the living room to my father's old room which was still set up with the hospital bed. I asked my son where was he going with his juice and he said he was bringing it to Paw Paw because Paw Paw was thirsty. But when my son turned to hand it to him he said he disappeared. My children haven't seen him since but we all know he's still around.

Well that's my story. Hope it wasn't too boring and I do have a few more, but the others are not as sweet.

Thank you for reading, my father was a wonderful man and I know for sure he is still around especially when I need him. Like he always was and I miss him dearly. This particular experience was amazing to me even though I didn't see him myself, just knowing he was there doing what he always did in life was was an unbelievable feeling of warmth and joy. ❤

LouisianaBelle:
I am so very sorry for your loss.

I think though it is wonderful that your boys got to see their Paw Paw after he passed on and that he made them laugh like he did in life. (Reminds me of my Grandpa Iggy) ... And then getting your son to bring him a juice box cause he was thirsty... I think that is awesome.
Even though he is no longer around for you to see... I'm sure he still keeps an eye out for you and your boys... And loves you all very much. You will see him again one day. I'm sure of that too.

I love Louisiana... Its such a brilliant place... I got there often for work and always enjoy my time there... The wrestling fans are awesome there that's for sure.

Kind Regards,
MsWrestlersGhost.

thats awsome I remeber my grandmother faye would come to me and talk to me when I was 15 while I was laying in bed at night. Then a few years later my stepbrother who was 1 at the times would always play peekaboo with my grandmother the reason I knew it was her is becuse when I asked him who he was playing with he reach up for me to pick him up and he pointed to my grandmothers faye pic and she had pastaway years befor he was born and we hadent menchen her to him at that time yet. Well then last year when he was 5 he was outside playing in my mom and stepdad back yard well he came in from playing with a little scrape and some dirt on his keens and hands my mom asked him what happened and he told her that he had fell and that he was ok becuse grandmal helped him up well my mom ask what grandmal are you talking about and he says well grandmal faye and sayed it like she was supposto know. And agin she had been gone awhile. 😁

I like this story. It just shows that dear family that has moved on to the other side doesn't necessarily leave us. Its like they just moved to another house and they come to visit us from time to time. ^_^

Hi everyone as I said this is my first time sharing. Forgive me as I try to give you guys the clearest picture of my experience. I would like to make one correction to my story above, my father passed away in 1999 not 2009. My apologies for that my step father passed away in 2009.
Anyway hope you enjoy and I do have more to share some not so nice.
