Alright,This story is about something that my mom told me today that happened yesterday night to my 16 year old cousin who lives in the apartment above mines... He had told his mother (my aunt) that while he was practicing his guitar in his room, he looked over and saw his little sister sitting down... But she was already sleeping so I don't know what that could be... Well he knew she was asleep so he ran out his room scared and told his mom... I found this site through a similar story posted as "I Saw A Ghost That Looked Like My Mom, She's Still Alive?" when I was looking for answers but I didn't really find one... By the way what happened to my cousin happened to my oldest sister around 1993 when I was only 3, I think... She told my mom she saw me running around the living room where she was watching TV but my mom told her I was sleeping... This building is really old and My grandparents moved here in 70s with my mom, aunt and uncle so me, my sisters and cousins been living here our whole lives... Some of these weird things happened to both my sisters and me before growing up but never to my cousins though.
I just want to know what it could have been or mean... I hope it's not something bad

It is not a bad omen. A doppleganger can simply be you or someone you know astral projecting unknowingly. It can also be a "living spirit" created by a person on accident going through horrible stuff. There are other theories too I am sure others on here with the experience and knowledge could provide. Ex: woman cries on couch then one year later someone sees this living woman's "projection" crying on the couch.
